Holy sh*t Sentai figuarts are indeed back! If they're only going to atleast focus on the reds or leaders going forward then I feel that's the best way to go

That's some beautiful packaging for a beautiful figure and I rather have some Sentai representation than none when it comes to updated figuarts

Is there a difference between Izu ver. and regular Zero-Two? Or is this like a waist thing?

From what we can tell from the prototype shown off back at the winter showcase it seems to be the case because looking at that teaser photo the proportions and height looks no different from regular Zero-One...

If there is indeed no size or proportion difference and just a matter of a slimmer waist area then I feel they could of made this be both interchangeable to either Aruto or Izu version

The hands are probably different.

There's not really a precedent for interchangeability like that in SHF. Especially when the swap wasn't a pre-planned engineering design.

A separate figure, however minor the adjustments, is much more in line with the SHF line.

Don Momotaro makes me ridiculously happy, I wished for this to happen too often than I would like to admit. And they did not disappoint, it looks amazing. The only thing I could want at this point is for them to include his hand fan, but I wouldn’t be mad if they decide not to. He already has all the weapons he needs.

Although this release does make a bit sad that there's no Stacaesar or Twokaiser yet, it seems "main guy only" is the new modus operandi for Sentai Figuarts. Which is, all things considered, still better than the alternative, which is getting nothing at all. Zenkaiser in packaging is awesome BTW, I'm very excited to get him.

As far a Zero-Two goes - I'm still a bit fed up with Zero-One Figuarts, or rather their release schedule, but I think I will buy this one. Using Zero-Two as Izu's Rider form was a great decision and the Double Rider-scene from the movie was fantastic.

It's quite interesting to me how they choose to advertise this exact scene with a two-pack. Interesting in the sense that, for one, there's already a whole bunch of Zero-One reissues, and two, it was not base Zero-One in that scene, it was Realizing Hopper. Which looks like base Zero-One, sure, but not in Tamashii world where Realizing Hopper exists and does look different. But I guess re-releasing an event exclusive wouldn’t go over well with fans.
