Well wasn't Stephen the orginal chapion in ruby and sapphire cause Wallace was the champ in emerald. But I am happy that he will have a mega meta gross

I'm just confused about why they're showing Shiftry as Sidney's ace Pokemon and not Absol who was his ace in RSE. I guess they're trying to keep Mega Absol a secret?

And I'm not sure why you expected Wallace at all. These are Ruby and Sapphire remakes. Steven was the Champion in those. I really don't see why you keep bringing it up.

Even though the 3rd gen megas are getting kind of saturated, I would like to see how mega Milotic would look like.

More Gen2 and Gen4. Gen5 can wait a gen considering that doing so creates a buffer of "Hey remember this Pokemon? Now it's way cooler!"

That's why I'm ok with Mega Vaniluxe. I'd rather they power up weaker Pokémon, than make already powerful ones more powerful.

It seems they did that with a lot of Mega evolutions. Granted, a lot were just pointless buffs to already OP Pokemon, but then there were others that got the boost they desperately needed, like Kangaskhan or Ampharos.

Well, just to clarify, I don't expect Wallace. It's only logical that Stephen is the Champion. I'm just saying that because I'm so used to Emerald it kind of throws me off. Totally irrational. :lol

Well, yeah, they did. I can kind of understand why, though, since it gave popular Pokemon (Gen 1 starters, Lucario, Gardevoir, T-Tar, etc) a new taste in life while also giving crap mons reason for players to use them.
