If any rider's gonna get remade next my money's on either Kuuga or Agito.

W just got reissue a year ago, so I doubt we will see W get renewal soon. Maybe next year since I won't mind a W upgrade. I like the W figuart, but I can see why he comes off cheap. I remember being a bit let down when I first got him since he was my third figuart next to Shin Ichigo and Stronger.

For now, let's make new riders and reissue some old ones before we start renewing everyone. I don't want this line to suffer the same fate as the Ultra Act line.

As for this whole wrist issue, I hope we stay with the current system. Although I have no Figmas, I'm ok with them (looking to get Thor & Iron Man), but they just seem inferior to Figuarts...or so I've read. I'm just a guy that's static, don't go changing something that works. Now many of you have been in this game for longer, and have more experience so I expect the back and forth over this. But why change to something that, so far isn't working (Kabuto) especially from a line that doesn't have it all together yet, from what seems to be working? Just my two cents. Just leave my Sentai Figuarts alone.

I do want to see more riders reissue. Reissue FangJoker since a lot of fans like that form and his figure has been out of print for a long time now. OOO Putotyra, Shin Nigo, Amazon, Diend, Knight and Ouja need reissues as well.

I would imagine Gaim and Baron will get reissues. Things that have first release bonuses usually do. Or extensive restocks at least. I suspect their bonuses will come packaged separately though. If they happen to be pack ins, then those two will most definitely get reissues.

I think Figmas and Figuarts are on equal level. Besides the Dragon Knight figmas and Kamen Rider Ryuki figuarts. Besides those 2, I see everything as equal measures some have faults and ups, but I certainly do not think figmas are inferior in any way. As for the renewal Kabuto issues, this is their first attempt with a whole new figuarts body, so not expecting any faults is a bit to much of a high expectation. I expect Hibiki to fix these issue at least.

I kinda don't want W to be renewal since I almost done getting all of the main forms of W. Just need Luna/Trigger to finish the main transformation line up

I messed with the Hurricangers and Gouraigers briefly.

I wish the Gouraigers had a bit more movement because I can't really seem to get them to do the cross armed roll call pose.

They look great though, and Vangelus was spot on in his review of Hurricane Red: the shoulder joint flows very naturally compared to previous Sentai releases.

It's kinda funny because with Hurricanger I worked backwards: normally I get the Reds first but Red is the only one I'm missing to complete the set.

He's also the last one I need to finish off my Red Rangers outside of buying Karou.

Also the sticker they slapped on the Hurricanger set? Preeeeeeetty crappy.

I don't think the DK Ryuki comparison is even fair, as things like the Dragon Knight Figma, Incisor Figma and the Strike figure fair very well...and possibly better than their SHF conterpart.

Well, just going off the comments I read and reviews I watch on YouTube. I'm sure Figmas are great, the recent Spide-man an example, but consistently Figuarts has the upper hand. But I'll have my chance to see for myself when Thor comes out. Might get Spidey and maybe Robocop before then.

My biggest issues with Figuarts is there is seemingly very loose QC in play, for every Figuart which is good enough to be displayed in an art installation, there is another where half the accessories are missing and the toy is basically broken right out of the package. Worst of all, those two opposite ends of the table can both be released in the same month.

In my experience Figma are far more brittle then Figuarts.

I've got about 60 Figuarts and 12 Figma and at least 4 of my Figma have broken pieces and 1 of my Figuarts has a broken piece.

Still vastly better then Revoltech, but I think Figuarts are better compared to Figma.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but aren't a majority of your Figma the (now pretty old) Haruhi ones though?

I own Strike and I think he's great. Not a touch on my SHF Zolda but by all regards Zolda was the best of the Ryuki figuarts so go figure.

That's true too, but the main Haruhi cast were among the first Figma ever produced in 2008. The Dragon Knight ones didn't come until 2010/11.

Personally I find the Ryuki Figuarts mostly superior to the DK Figma, but early Figuarts have exactly the same issues as early Figma do so its hard to say one line is better than the other. They both have their strengths and they stick to them pretty well nowadays.

I wouldn't assume that's the case. Kabuto got a reissue RIGHT before the renewal version was announced, which annoyed anyone who went and bought that version.

They're running out of riders to actually release, so going back and doing upgraded versions of the older ones makes sense and Double will probably be high up on that list. He's one of the oldest releases, was a very popular character and the current one suffers from quite a few problems. I'd still bet on Agito and Kuuga first, but Double won't be far off.

As for the Figma vs SHF thing, Figma tend to be better when it comes to human characters. The Precure have come a long way since they started making them, but they're still not quite up to the same quality as Figma anime characters are. Figuarts have almost perfected armored looking characters, but they still sometimes suffer from problems. The Figma Iron Man looks leagues better than the Figuarts one, for example. But then we're maybe getting slightly off topic with this discussion.

Renewal Double is an absolute must, but the big issue is that unless they release ALL his forms, CycloneJoker's quality will make the other W figuarts look even worse when displayed together. And 9 forms of the same renewal Rider seems unlikely.

That might be the only thing holding Bandai back from making it. Now they could make all the new mold forms TWE, but would a lot of people buy them? To me CycloneJoker would really be the only one Id buy. Maybe Xtreme and FangJoker.

Paid off my N-Y pre-order for Shin. Now to wait.

Still have Tiger Ranger, Gridon and Bravo to pay off too, but I'll leave those for the month of their releases.

Genuinely surprised Ryugen is still up, like even though there are reasons for hating him, he's still shaping up to be an interesting villain. It's why I'm still picking him up, I want to recreate the BETRAYAL on my shelf at one point.

Also when does Shin drop? I've lost track of most of my figuarts preorders...this month autovajin is coming out too right?

Well it's more despite doing some deplorable things in the latest episodes his downfall is being handled really well, like you'd hate the character because of the things he's done and not because he was poorly represented or written. It's like how people will buy a figure of Shadowmoon, Micchy is quite an interesting character in the show, his suit is pretty cool plus he's part of the main four so that's why I'm surprised that he isn't selling out like the previous three.

I imagine it's possible. Tajadol just received a rerelease. It'd be nice if Putotyra, Diend, Knight (especially), Ouja and maybe Kuuga Ultimate and G4 received rereleases.

Well the original Kabuto was rereleased in April of last year (with preorders going up, what, two months or so ahead of then), I think, and we didn't hear about the renewal until...Octoberish? So not quite that quick a turnaround time (certainly not like what happened with Takara and the MP-1L "final release" and MP-10 being released within months of each other).

FangJoker is a *very* solid Figuart.

Does Mandrake automatically combine orders from the same shop? I know that sounds like a silly question but with the way it reads I'm not sure.

In other news, I just bought both of the Phantom Figuarts as their value clearly plummeted - that might mean they're shit, but I'm gonna take all the villains I can get, especially from a series I love.

Yes it does. Everything you buy from (we'll say Nakano shop for this example) Nakano shop will come in one package. If you're buying things from two ore more shops, each shop will ship out individually. So that means you'd get a package filled with everything you got from Nakano, one with everything from Shibuya, and so on and so forth.

Just to add something from my experience:

Mandarake will combine the items if the purchases are made at the same time. I've had orders placed even hours apart that were packed in different boxes. I've found that if you don't ask specifically to combine orders placed at separate times, they won't do it.

Lucky I made sure to buy everything at the same time then! :lol

Is Kamen Rider Joker for 5,000 yen worth it?

I would say yes considering his regular price is in the $70+ ranger.
