But the problem is that basically any American made that connection :lol
But that's the only connection people are making, which makes it hard to really believe the whole "Homaging past monsters" claim for Zyuohger (However, I will be fair in that, since if they are making homages to past monsters, that's roughly 50 episodes per worth of monsters over the course of 40 shows, so there are a lot to pick from...)
