I really like my Metagross though. And it wasn't made with Mega in mind. I'm curious how well it would work as one, but it's no loss to me if people won't want to battle it as one.

A Pokemon getting a Mega evo doesn't mean it'll be used often, though. A lot of people like to run Alakazam, Garchomp, and Tyranitar without Mega Evolving, after all.

Having never been a big Metagross fan, I don't think I'll use it often, either.

Since Japan had the pre-screening for the movie they released it to those who saw it, which someone put out the data for it and now people are distributing it in giveaways of sorts. And I just happened to win a giveaway and got a Diancie plus a battle ready Thundurus.
