For me, Nippon Yasan, though I've used Yokatta before as well.

Yokkata asks for payments marked as "gift". I wouldn't touch that with a five foot pole. That's incredibly dodgy and untrustworthy, not worth the risk.

Nippon Yasan have never let me down, but I know they've had trouble fufilling some late-ish pre-orders with others

CSToys is always the best place to go. $10 for shipping can be a bit much, but it's worth it.

But I say that if you pre-ordering on Day 1, Nippon Yasan is by far the best.

I use CS Toys as well. It sometimes costs a little more than other places, but it's definitely the most reliable.

Yeah. I ordered Gai from them once and they would take forever to get back to me. Combined with requesting that my payment be sent as a gift, and it's not hard to see how stressful the whole process of ordering was for me. Luckily, I did get my package in the end fully in tact, but I don't ever want to go through that again.


I suggest any pre-order you want to get, you go CSToys. Got my Imperer, and it was a really smooth process and it actually worked out since I could drop the 40-50 on the figure at the initial order, and not have to worry about paying shipping for months later, so I could afford to go with a faster shipping option.

Yokatta had been my de facto middleman for years untill I came across Nippon Yasan. They are legit and I've had no problems.

You know, I'm not a huge fan of the early Sentai designs, specifically the way the helmets looked but I feel like you can't collect Sentai Figuarts and not have a representation of the very first Super Sentai!

It's not like it makes a difference. Yokatta have done a lot to gain people's trust, they're reliable. While I haven't used them in a while because oki does split payments when I did use Yokatta they were very good to me.

I'd say if the item turns out to be cheaper go with them. Nippon Yassan is alright but I do find them to be really expensive in comparison. Also with preorders you have to pay upfront.

Yes it does. I don't care how small Yokatta is, lying to Paypal in order to shirk expenses, which leaves the buyer with ZERO protection if anything goes wrong is not something that anyone should do. Its not worth the risk and I wouldn't recommend anyone do business with such a dodgy system, regardless of people's good experiences.

I think I am going to go with CSToys for my Akaranger purchase, unless there is a cheaper place I can use that will ship to Germany.

You could always use sites like AmiAmi or Hobby Search. They are alot cheaper than cs.

If Bluefin release Akaranger then I will pre-order him at the Collector's Corner. If they don't then I can grab him on Ebay or Amazon. I got my Kyoryu Red brand new with free shipping for $33 from a HK seller on Ebay last January.

I forgot about Amazon. I hope they get him in. I have gotten all my other figures from there except for two.

Now to hope for Lost Galaxy and Wild Force.

I had good experiences with Nippon-Yasan at first, but they've become extremely dodgy and shady with me of late, so I stopped using their service and am happily back with Yokatta again.

Nippon-Yasan has great prices, but their shipping is so high I end up paying more with them.

After my Kyoryu Gold debacle, when I had three preordered from shortly after they went up, I became really hesitant for future dealings. They didn't even bother to tell me what was happening until I inquired about it, and many of us who experienced the problem received different answers, or no responses at all.

Now, when I tried to cancel an order that was placed back at the start of the year, they refused me. Apparently they have changed their cancellation policy, but refuse to honor it for orders placed prior to the change.

They made no mention of this change anywhere except in small lettering on their FAQs page, and just told me in a message when I asked to cancel.

That's extremely unprofessional and shady work, as far as I'm concerned. They can ban my account for not paying for my preorders if they want, I will not be going back to them.

Yeah, I'm having issues with NY as well. IIRC, you CAN cancel orders with them, right? Well I made a mistake as I have two accounts on NY because I forgot I made my first account and SHF Bravo was pre-ordered on both. I paid on one of the accounts already and I requested if I could cancel my pre-order on the other one. After all, I don't plan on buying the same figure twice. They told me this:

I don't understand exactly how they're run, but I don't understand why this would be an issue; Bravo doesn't come out for another 4 months. I acknowledge that this is somewhat my fault for not keeping track of my accounts, but my only two options are to either pay for the same figure twice or risk my account being cancelled? That doesn't seem right.

It's a new NY policy (must be very new as I cancelled one there maybe a month and a half ago) because they themselves aren't being allowed to cancel their orders for the figures. So then they're stuck with the one they ordered for you and that's a loss to them.

Yeah, they aren't going to stay in business long if they keep having to eat the costs on items they may or may not sell. Both they and their suppliers have probably been burned by people placing placeholder orders. Does it suck? Sure. But it makes sense from the perspective of the business.

Yeah, I suppose you're right. Still though, I think Bravo is going to sell like hotcakes, given the popularity of Gaim and him being a pretty memorable character. But I see the point.

Bravo may sell like crazy (I hope he does, he's awesome) but I'm surprised to see they're still taking pre-orders. I'd have thought they would have capped by now. He, Ryugen, and Jinba Lemon are the only Gaim releases still available there.

I thought for the Web Exclusives, Bandai takes orders for them for the period that the pre-orders are open and then that once it closes that is all the produce? Which is why some Exclusives are so rare because people waited for the secondary market instead of pre-ordering them initially so less was made. So it would make sense that they are still taking orders for Bravo if Bandai is still taking orders. I could be wrong though.
