He looks great though and maybe they should consider a bare-boned release without the Full-dragon parts like how they did the Type Tridoron release. I could see a SS Wizard Infinity Full-dragon or Gold full-dragon being 14000 yen thoigh

Do we know if American retailers will be getting the Wizard SHFSS rerelease? They've been good with the general releases but for whatever reason they skipped Ichigo, Kuuga and Decade recent rereleases. I'm afraid wizard will be as well.

Agreed, I would have preferred just Flame Dragon the figure by itself. I'm mainly coming from having no desire to display it with the dragon pieces. To their credit, the dragon parts look spot on and I can see how the extra price factors into the new tooling and paintwork needed.

Comparing it to the Wizard re-release starting at ~65USD (9,350 yen), Flame Dragon is ~97USD

Even the Japanese retailers didn't get Wizard. Nothing from amiami, HobbyGenki, or Anime-Export.

HobbyLinkJapan seems to be the only store that's still carrying every retail release Bandai is putting out, either collectibles or even candy toy cases

Considering All-Dragon/Special Rush is basically just Flame Dragon with all the dragon bits I would have been more shocked if they didn't give him the whole part set.

Cause as it stands I don't see SS getting into any of Wizard's alternate forms any time soon, so I'm sure people would have been disappointed if they didn't take that chance to make that form obtainable or annoyed if they did something like release Flame Dragon barebones and then put the dragon parts out as a separate set which they 100% could have done if they wanted to milk the consumer base that little bit more.

Not a bad price converted even though shipping will make it more for me via DHL or Fedex.

If anyone still need the Wizard re-issue, it's available at SugoToys. Been using them for a long time since they're Australia-based so shipping is usually cheaper for me. They do ship worldwide but I have no idea how much it'll cost.
