I am personally torn between the body designs of gokai red and red hawk...Hawk is more traditional and wins with poseability but gokai has the detailing and style...though the jacket hinders the kegs slightly...

Really? I know the Gokai mould has the jacket tails but given its the only one they bothered to put a bicep swivel on I'd say that its still the clear winner as far as posability is concerned.

The sad thing is that Luka would kick both of our asses for talking like that, :lol

So I just ordered a GokaiPink off Mandrake for 6000 yen. HOpefully my order goes through but I hated having to choose DHL since I cannot use Paypal with SAL.

I'm guessing you just ordered the one I was eyeing. Curse myself for not having the money in time :cry

Yeah. I probably shouldn't have ordered her, as I kept eyeing Yellow last week on there but could not bring myself to order her due to a lack of funds. However, Pink seems to be more rare so I decided to just pull the trigger. Buy now, regret later.

Well it seems the one I was eyeing is still there, so there might have been more than one on there. Let's hope I don't lose that one, cheapest I could find besides there is around $130 total

You guys are making me so glad I bought the Gokai girls right away from a middleman service. The listings for complete Gokaiger sets also make me feel better about how much I dropped on my set.

Sadly, I didn't have it in mind to get any other Figuarts except TaToBa until recently :lol. May save up for Ahim or just get enough money for AkibaYellow, GokaiSilver or another OOO combo, seeing as those cost less than how much she's going for.

A local comic book shop got in Gokai Green and Silver last week. A friend of mine traded in a bunch of old toys. Got $200 and Gokai Silver. And I went with another friend of mine and he bought Green. They were priced at $32 each. Sweet deals.

I really wanted to jump on a full set of Akibarangers with bonus stages for $90, but I didn't have the funds for that.

It's funny how the 7 OOO forms cost me about half as much as the 6 Gokaigers did.

See, I didn't even know Figuarts existed until March of last year when I came across ShinkenRed and Gold at TRU. I did not buy my first until June when I had the money.

The Gokai girls were 7th and 8th SHF's I got respectively. And I paid out the nose for mine on eBay. Before I knew about middlemen or mandarake. So the 6,000 yen on mandarake I saw ahim for seems like a bargin compared to what I paid.

I got them on BBTS last year. At the time I had ungodly amounts of store credit built up so buying them at $90 each in monopoly money didn't feel like a bad deal at the time. And with trouble people have finding them now? I KNOW it wasn't a bad deal :lol

*sigh* just cracked and got Survive Ryuki on order...saw a review...he looks flawless...hated the form on the show, but man that figure is looking better and better...I am so weak...

Since I got gokai green and silver I've wanted to finish my gokaigers. Should I go get pink and yellow first or wait until I've got red and blue first then get the girls. It's the same with shinkenger for me.

Marvelous is starting to rise In price from what I can tell. So I would prioritize him and then the girls. The prices on them will stay consistently high.

I need to get a second Marvelous myself for a custom...

Awe man. I had gotten a MOC Knasty Knight and Snizzard off ebay the other day. I think the rangers got to Snizard before I did.

He shattered like glass as I was pulling him out of his tray. I am pretty disappointed. Sure, I only paid $10 for him, but it is the point of the matter. I know it isn't the sellers fault, but come on.

On the other hand, Knasty Knight as fine. Well, at least until he met up with Daizyujin.

Gold Plastic Syndrome It's a pretty commonly known, and very rampant, problem with toys manufactured using gold plastic in the 80's and 90's, especially Transformers. But pretty much any toy manufactured in that time frame using that kind of dark swirly gold plastic is susceptible to it.

Certain shades of brown and magenta suffer from it as well. That plastic just more easily discolors and degrades over time. Some of the biggest examples of this are G1 Black Zarak and G1 Monstructor. Other minor examples being Beast Wars Fuzros Torca, Beast Wars Grimlock (a Dinobot repaint), Transmetals Megatron, and your unfortunate power ranger monster there. There are a ton of examples of this issue out there.

See above. New figures don't really share the same kind of shoddy production of that time period. And for the most part Fourze is painted gold not molded in it. And the parts that are aren't nearly the same kind of or color of plastic.

So I still haven't gotten any email from Mandrake about my GokaiPink order. Maybe it did not even go through.

Sucks about your Snizzard, Kain. I've been wanting one of those myself for a while but now I'm thinking I should just leave it, get King Sphinx and then be content with the three monsters I have.
