We all kinda figured it by now, but Moffat confirms Matt Smith is the "13th" Doctor
http://www.digitalspy.co.uk/tv/s7/do...offat.html?rss This is also somewhat interesting... Christoper Eccleston Provisionally Agreed to Return to Doctor Who, Source Says |

I really hope this isn't going to be a huge mishmash of nonsense. There is A LOT going on there. You've got to admit. After the 50th I have renewed faith that Moffat can deliver, but from everything I've heard rumoured so far, it's not looking good. If the teasing and rumours are right then all this might even include the return of River Song if only in memory. Oh but I mean that in a I-love-everything-the-Doctor-Who-series-does-regardless-on-its-own-merits kind of way. I'm not knocking it, I'll still enjoy watching it, but I can always speculate how it could go wrong :P |

Just realised we also have daleks and a ... woman in make up. Yep, it's official. I'm very curious as to how this can all play into one story.
Not forgetting a possible wooden cyberman? 16 days to go... |
Next wave of micro figures (the ones that come in cases rather than bags) has been revealed -
http://i.imgur.com/3jb3bo2.jpg First things first... Sec Sec Sec Sec Sec :D :D *Ahem* Not a bad range, although a bit sucky its all rereleases/variants, but there's some cool ones among them. Not sure if the Tennant and Eccleston are variants, but them aside my hit list is: - Fez 11 - Sec - Unmasked Sontaran - Unmasked Judoon - Screaming Silent |
Yes! RO SHO BO KO DO RO!

Got an early Christmas present today in the form of the Third Doctor's Sonic Screwdriver.
This is the most addictive toy ever. All I've done is sonic things all day :lol |
Man that trailer looks cool! Though itll take me a bit to get to it :p
So Ive been watching more of the 10th (that is Tennant right?) my favorite one so far is the High School episode. K-9 was pretty cool. |
School Reunion was fantastic. One of my favourite Tennant episodes :D

"The Satan Pit"
Well that was a creepy looking demon :lol Wait a minute, the group was a member of the Torchwood archives, is every episode of this season gonna alude to that series? |
Quote:
As you have already guessed, "Torchwood" is the arc word for this series like Bad Wolf was in series 1. |

Why BBC? Why do you wait until after Christmas to release this:

It's a very odd date, especially since I heard they were selling it at the 50th event the day after TDOTD aired. |

I wouldn't be surprised. Changing dates is FP's specialty.

Finale of Season 2-
Wow. Those were some awesome episodes! A bit rushed on the end. But damn he almost told Rose he loved her! Then they end it by showing chick in a wedding dress... Good Lord, they go from serious to WTF in about 3 seconds... |

Definitely watch it after Who though. It doesn't impact the show. |

Children of Earth is the real masterpiece of Torchwood. Plus Peter Capaldi. Enough said. |

But stick with it. Torchwood gets very good. |
Season 1 takes it to extremes though. I think it could be because it was written for BBC3 for its initial airing but then got bumped up to the better regarded BBC2 and then eventually BBC1. Season 1 has its moments, but season 2 is where everything starts coming together nicely. Rhys becomes a main character, and then you get the great episodes with Martha and James Marsters.
And honestly, you're better off skipping Miracle Day. Again it has its moments, but not only is it longer than it needs to be but it just opens up even more questions with new characters which are shallow replacements of the older ones. The problem with Captain Jack is that is entire set up is a dropped plot point. Those years taken away from him by the time agency? Never mentioned again. |
