And is this going to be another Royal Knights fest (though to be fair, the Adventure verse, being one of the first, was rather sparse in the appearance of the knights, since they had just about 3 of their forms appear and the only "gods" that made an appearance were Azulongmon).

There are also Gokaiger alums who will be in this. Mao (Gokai Yellow) and Junya Ikeda will be the new voices for Hikai and Jou.

On May 6, 2015, it was announced that tri. would not be a television series, but rather a 6-part theatrical film series, with the first movie Sakai (Reunion) to be released on November 21, 2015

Royal Knights are easy outs for villains in the franchise.

It's getting to point that they should just release a Royal Knights vs Demon Lords movie and be done with it. We all know they want to.

Alphamon and Omnimon work well together even without the Royal Knights because alpha and omega, so maybe they don't need to mention the Knights at all. It would be weird anyways since Agumon & Gabumon are certainly not members. I know they can pull some "they are reincarnations of the original Omnimon"-BS, but still.

Also, seeing Omnimon in action makes me regret not picking the D-Arts figure up when it was still available for dirt cheap.

Well, they can't be the "Reincarnation" since the original Omegamon never died.

You know what I mean, "died" in the sense of smashed into pixels and then rewritten as eggs in Primary Village. Unless you mean that there is another Omnimon that's still around and that I'm I'm not aware of.

Also, Imperialdramon Paladin Mode funded the Knights, and if that happened Veemon and Wormmon better have a good explanation.

Joke aside, the trailer didn't really hype me any more than any other piece of info, but it gave me a reason to be interested at least. Junya Ikeda and Mao Ichimichi as VAs.... Count me in!
I really hope they do a good job on this. It can't get worse than the original two seasons of Adventure. I just hope they give the 02 kids at least a minor role because I kinda like those guys.
But I still don't like the artworks. Mimi looked horrible in this one.

I can't wait for the English dub since I can't wait to hear the original voice cast again. I'm kinda the reverse purist when it comes to Digimon English dubs (At least the first three seasons). With something like DBZ, I like the Japanese cast better but with Digimon I do like the first three shows dubbed even if the dub is cheesy as Hell.

I really hoping hoping they bring back Tai's voice actor. He said he'd do it if he was asked. :lol

I had a feeling that "Tri" was originally slated to be an anime series, but for some reason........possibly the writing or production staff felt they couldn't produce enough material for a full 30+ episode season.

That's my only theory at this point, I really think "Tri" was going to end up series but they decided not to at the last minute

I wonder how Saban is going to bring it over in the US if it's a series of movies? Since movies have a bigger budget cost to them then won't the license to the movie cost more? Given how cheap Saban is, I worry that they may not bring over at all. Not to mention a sub title release is unlikely too if Saban does bring it over.

...Have them kill Leomon and feel bad about it later? Because a Leomon has to die somewhere in a new universe, tis tradition at this point.

When it comes to movies likes this east I have learned recently this will hardly see a dub. TV anime yea but movie like this I can't see getting a dub. It just my experience due to a lot ova special movie that dub company have anime tight yo but don't dub said special ior what ever do to see this getting is now high doubt for me regardless of the fan base these film ain't Ghibli. Also it looks like apart from digimon via all chosen children VA are all new not just hikari and joe
