because I have seen too many people wrongfully bash the comics because of how she dresses. she's a great character, it's just she sometimes gets the shaft.

hell, in the image above she actually is one of my preferred characters. she isn't taking any crap but she shows plenty of concern for the new kids in the Titans.

Do we even have confirmation that she'll be an alien princess in the show? She very well could be normal girl turned metahuman.

To go more in depth about my point. The Perez Starfire shows just enough skin to look sexy but not sexualized. While the N52 design for example only uses clothing in really specific places. Mostly just a few lines to cover up her more intimate areas and those weird as hell Nippleflaps. Plus its unpractical as hell.

The Starfire of New Teen Titans did not sleep with every guy she came across and then write it off. She had a personality. She was in love with Dick. She was not a machine who desired sex and nothing but sex and would sleep with anyone that asked her to.

dressing provocatively doesn't mean she desires sex. they are not interchangeable with what I am talking about. I am not asking for that. PLEASE stop assuming that I am. I have not been referring to the new 52 starfire. I haven't read anything involving new 52 starfire. I've just heard she's gotten better.

what I want is a Starfire that is more close to the comic book version than the bubbley version we got in the cartoon. because I am sick of the cartoon being the standard.

You just said you haven't read the N52 version, so you obviously don't even know what you are talking about. In the first issue of Red Hood and the Outlaws she sleeps with both Jason and Roy. She says her race doesn't have emotions so sexual contact is the only way to know if someone is good or not. WTF?

They changed only minor details like the Belt and how the lines flow.

I never assumed anyone here was saying that. I've just seen a lot of people will bash ANY (not just new 52) comic book iteration of Starfire that isn't exactly like the cartoon version. not assuming any of you are like that. I'm sorry if I came off that way.

Best thing they ever did to Sup's costume was getting rid of his red trunks.

I still kinda miss them big red briefs. he looks like he's in some kinda weird body suit now.

I'd rather see that then hear people say "put your pants on" or "got you underwear on wrong, they go on the inside!".

So what? People make jokes about supes no matter how his suit looks because alot of people dont like supes.

Best example, Batman. His suit looked identical to Supermans but you never hear people make the underwear jokes about that one.

I still prefer the Iconic Pre-Flashpoint look to both of these N52 suits. I dont mind them but both are not nearly as iconic as the one we got before.

I honestly have to say that I never liked Superman anyway. I just didn't like him, no particular reason. But I loved Batman.

its weird i never liked batman. and i all ways made the underwear joke with batman when i was kid. yea i like BTAS but that was After i saw Superman 3 and Lois and clark.

Not a big fan of the mask/helmet/whatever, but otherwise I dig it.

I like it. But I think of a mix between Ironman and Cpt. America. Not by coloring, but just by some of the shapes used in it. But over all, its good.

Like it. Helmet is very boring looking but the rest is pretty neat.

I´m really looking forward to Batman Beyond and Doc Fate. Sad to see Geoff Johns leaving Superman already his run or rather Arc on the book was pretty good.

I'm looking forward to Robin Son of Batman, Red Hood/Arsenal, Doctor Fate, Martian Manhunter, Aquaman's New Creative Team, Green Lantern: Lost Army, Earth-2: Society, Starfire, Justice League of America, and more. This is exciting to be a DC Fan.

They can cut out a few of those Batman and Superman titles too.

Anyway, it doesn't seem like the N52 universe is ending, they are just not going to be running 52 titles a month anymore. Of course, it's not like 49 is that big of a difference.

Okay, found the master list. Whew, JL3K is continuing with a rebranding. I was worried when it wasn't on the list of continuing books. And there is still an Earth 2 book; hopefully it will un-fuck-up everything that DC has tried to ruin with World's End.

I'm excited for Doctor Fate , especially if it's Khalid Ben-Hassin. I like that guy, and we need more superheroes like him.

The books I am mostly excited for are Starfire, Black Canary, Doc Fate and Batman Beyond.

Also Cullen Bunn as the new Aquaman writer excites me.
