It depends on size, accessories, and tooling necessary.

Dinobot is pretty big and seems rather complex, so he's in the upper-end price class.

He is, in fact, the most expensive Masterpiece figure to date. AmiAmi sells him for 21340¥, which is about 190 USD I think.

Yes, the price here is hard to swallow. Even still after seeing the final product.

But it's something I really want. And with 8 months to save, could take the sting out of it a bit.

That beast mode is...unfortunate. Definitely the best they could have done though, and they nailed the proportions so it feels a bit mean to complain too much. The robot mode is perfection though.

Price puts me right off though so I'll be giving him a miss. I just hope Megatron isn't too far away.

Beast mode looking like a gappy mess is something I can live with given how cool the robot mode is.

I end up selling my Transformers DVDs expect for the 1986 movie on Blu-Ray. I don't like the franchise as much as I used too. There are times that I go back and forth with the franchise. After 2005, I stop caring about the series until I watch Prime on Netflix in 2013. I did watch Prime up to the third season and didn't had the chance to finish it.

With how much Dinonot costs I'm dreading Megs' price.

Megatron would be great, but I think they need to finish the Axalon crew first before any predacons.

They are at 3 out of 5 for a basic Axalon crew now, they should finish that one first so we can have at least one semi-complete display for the time being.

Honestly, the only BW figure I don't want is Optimal Optimus, because it's just so underwhelming and boring to me.

Master piece waspinator need be able to blow up come with spare part to make him look like he fell apart.

So if MP Waspinator was charged $200+ but came with the necessary accessories to replicate him being blown up, ripped apart, and trying to put himself back together, would you pay the large asking price?

I have generations rat trap standing aside my masterpiece Cheetor and Primal and he looks good next to them. I'd say Rhinox needs it more, as he isn't entirely accurate. Rhinox was about the same size as Primal and was far bulkier looking.

So yeah, given that MP Beast Wars seems to be going for show accuracy in robot mode, it needs to happen IMO.

Regardless, because of this little hiccup that Hasbro did not know about and understandably does not like, it makes me want to try and grab as many Jazzes that I can find in my area (if possible, distribution is a crapshoot here). Make it rain by stockpiling and then purging them all on eBay in a few months when the price spikes for these Jazz figures.
