We already came up with a basic idea earlier. More or less:

Humanoid dinosaur Kaiju; powerful magic wielding overlords of the prehistoric world who ruled over the dinosaurs for eons. One of their own sealed the rest of his kind away against their will deep beneath the Earth to avoid the meteor which extinct the dinosaurs. The seal has been broken in modern day and the hibernation process has transformed them into skeletal monstrosities. Believing themselves to be cursed individuals and seeking revenge on their evolutionary replacements they call themselves The Extinct.

the name Extinct being work in progress apparently XD

We only know the secondary rider is going to be ice age themed. We won't discuss it until we finish Paleo.

If you have the time can you add color to it? It's fine like this, but if you add color it'll give us a better feel of the design. It's still great though, so if you have the time can you do it? Thanks Yuu for all these excellent designs and contribution!

But what about the "Amber Stones"? Will they be explained like... besides just the form ones, what about weaponry and powers?

We've discussed the amber stones. Paleo has 6: Thero, Quad, Aqua, Aero, Omni, and the corrupt final one. We're probably going to make more in the future with the other riders. We've discussed the form exclusive weapons, but we'll discuss the standard sidearm weapons later. Can you explain what you mean by "powers"?

Well... I'm thinking of extra powers he can use from other dinosaurs.

Powers are done more like Gaim. The skull on the Paleo Belt has a chomping action.

The only powers we're using are for the 4 base forms and the Omni form. That's all we've decided for Paleo. Maybe we can make an extra form for Paleo down the road with a new Amber and four new power ups, but that would probably be when we're done.

I don't know if there are any candidates already, but I would really like to try and write the story once we've finished everything.

The writing part is going to be a lot of work so we're going to need a group of people. You two can be two of the people helping to write the story. Yuu, we'll save all those dark parts for you because I want some "juicy" parts in this. The story is going to be the very last thing though.

I must warn you though, my stories can get really messed up to the point that it could easily fit in an adult horror visual novel.

I'm all for adverse effects from the final form, but we don't want it to rip off Blade/OOO/Gaim, TOO much. :p

Don't worry I can handle the messed up stuff, but let's not put too much of that in the story since it's about a hero.

If you want we could make it that using the final form could kill him instead of turning him to a monster. And since said form is extinction based, we could make it that using the form slowly destroys his body and fossilizing it as he uses it .

Is there a summary of the custom rider so far? I'm interested in what's been developed, but there's a lot of pages of brainstorming and revisions to go through.

Hmm, reading back on the themes relating to the final form reminds me of something I tossed around in my head recently. When the protagonist acquires his final form, it was a point of divergence in the fictional history, one where he was able to overcome the challenge (physical and/or mental) and achieve control over his final form, and the other where he does not and gives in to the uncontrolled power (which could turn into one of them alternate timeline movies). In addition to the fossilized look of the form, the driver itself would be the one that's slowly fossilizing as he uses it, because the uncontrolled power the hero is suppressing with his will is slowly damaging the driver instead. When it comes to the end of course, there could be a final moment where the driver is nearly completely fossilized, and the hero may have to make a sacrifice to go into that last battle.

Let's not make the final form fossilize him or turn him into monster. Let's just make him lose his mind when in that form and go crazy. Later on he can overcome the effects and control the form.

Or we can make it like Kuuga Ultimate.

You mean turn him into a walking nuke that could obliterate everything if he isn't careful in using it which is already hard considering that using the form causes him to go berserk..

What about when he gets all the forms before final form, something snaps inside of him? Something "Hulk" drives him insane destroying everything in its path while killing its enemies.

Nah its better if the final form itself is the one messing his head because I would love to see him struggle as the situation pressures him to use it while knowing the consequences and difficulty and just say

" how the hell am I supposed to use this without destroying the city!!"

I had an idea for a secondary rider; one based on the early, early shell creatures. I know we should focus on paleo, but it's just a suggestion.

I like that maybe the side character could be his whole reason behind being able to control it all..Oh yeah I'd love to be on the story team btw

I'll stick to the secondary based on ice age beasts.

I was thinking that instead of the usual tomodachi powers, he must remove all doubt in his mind and focus on his goal, you know...clear heart and clear mind since the form messes with them.

Then let's yank the chain some more that after mastering the form, some of his friends and the city people start to fear him and see him as a monster after witnessing what the form could do, thus putting more doubt in his mind and cause him to lose control a again which ends up with the people fearing him even more until they finally deem him as an even bigger threat to humanity than the monsters themselves and some even teaming up with them to get rid of Paleo while the the poor guy desperately tries to prevent himself from breaking emotionally and mentally from the stress.

..it is called the Extinction form for a reason.
