Man Hikari looks amazing. The fit and finish on Ultra-Acts really is superb. It would be really nice if they would finally make Babalou. That would be a great display piece with Hikari and Tsurugi.

Any release date for Ultra 80 yet? I paid him off a while ago on NY.

80's release date is January 16th.

Given some web exclusives that come out a week earlier don't ship from NY until the others are released, I don't know if people will get shipping notices from them for 80 until closer to the end of the month anyways, despite the earlier release date (same goes for the SHF Gaim/Baron two-pack, also out the 16th).

posing the ultra-act ultraman with the brothers mantle and stand that I got for christmas was a nightmare. reason why is it made my ocd shift into turbo so much that I wanted to vomit to feel some relief. I love it and all but my nerves are still frazzled from a bit ago.

After some delay (about 3 weeks :cry) I finally got my Ultraman King :D:

Anyone have any idea what the full name of the Ultra-act Guts Wing 01 is ? I can't seem to find it anywhere...

If 80 comes out on the 16th then when will NY start shipping out pre-orders? It took three weeks for my SHF Kamen Rider Duke to come in the mail.

With stuff that's technically supposed to be released earlier, I've noticed TWE stuff still tends to ship out from NY at the same time, so I wouldn't expect 80 to ship from them until the final week of January.

I guess Ultraman 80, Blue Beet and Kinnikuman will come in around February for me. At least I have a lot to look forward too.

I take it that we are not going to get any more retail releases for Ultra Act besides reissues? I would imagine Cosmos and Victory would be announced by now.

There's still the rest of the year for another retail Ultra-Act or two to be announced...but the time that's passed since the last non-reissue retail release isn't helping matters. I hope the line doesn't become exclusive-only from now on, but something's better than nothing.

Why do they have to be so expensive? The original Tiga Power and Sky type together were cheaper than this exclusive set!

They were, yes. It sucks that the exclusive two-pack is more but that's the unfortunate trend with the Ultra-Act two-pack pricing. It's not great, but at least the renewal Sky Type will be a much better figure than the original, most of the effects parts are updated and included, and you get a new GUTS Wing 1.

It would be nice if this line went back to Kajiu for once.

I got my Ultra Act 80 the other day and he is a pretty sweet figure. Very happy to own him in my collection.

Well, Bandai corrected the color of Ultraman Tiga Sky Type in their official images from blue to purple:

Nice, good to see they corrected it. I did like the blue, but not at the expense of accuracy.

Heh, that half-blue, half-purple image is amusing. Didn't actually realize the renewal Sky Type had been the wrong color though, missed that detail.

I totally missed that as well. That's cool they're correcting it.

This also reminds me I need to open 80 already...
