Figure Rise Standard Faiz ? Excellent kit, highly recommend. Unless you want to wait for an SS renewal, the kit looks more accurate than that old ass SHF. Comes with all the weapons too and an effect piece for the finisher. Only issue is you have to sticker all of them, but all the molding is there if you want to paint everything instead

Also great that the Faiz FRS can pull off the Axel form! Really great kit.

Thinking about it, which FRSes would you lot say are better than their currently available SHFs? I'd say Faiz, Ryuki, Ex-Aid and eventually Fourze. I think Hibiki, Kabuto, Decade and W also have a leg-up on their Seihous with their accessories and features, even though the Seihous are far better as figures

For Kabuto, I definitely prefer the look and proportions of the FRS

The Figuart feels like it has short arms, smallish shoulders, and the head a little too rounded, compared to the teardrop shape that I prefer.

I'd say Kuuga since he proportionally has the correct helmet and comes with that little bit of kick effect and mark, depending on which version you got. And then later on, Blade will be better than the 1.0 SHF. Once he comes out. I just hope he comes with the "yellowed" clear cover for his face and purple stomach :lol

Also how's Ex-Aid better as a FRS than the SHF? Is it the eyes? XD

For Ex-Aid it's very much the eyes, yeah -- the compoundeye effect SHF always does is great, but it's just inaccurate and out of place on Ex-Aid so the FRS is an improvement there. FRS just feels more proportionally accurate, somehow? Something about SHF Ex-Aid always felt off to me for some reason...

Kuuga I have to disagree on though, I have both Seihou Mighty and FRS Amazing Mighty and the former just nails the design so much better. Blade will naturally be so much better unless a Seihou comes out first, and I think both Drive and Ghost will be improvements too

Definitely for Drive in terms of proportions! Hope they put in the budget and give us some gloss-coated runners, and maybe the Max Flare tire.

As for Ghost, god, he's gonna need it. I imagine all the skeletal patterns would either be stickers or actually be filled in by a separate orange runner. Would be neat if the jacket is made of a soft plastic type of runner.

In terms of their P-Bandai counterparts, Proto Drive and Specter/Musashi, I guess.

PB repaints should be very interesting for Ghost and Drive because they've both got three entire options, all of which are interesting! I feel like Gold Drive is very likely over Proto, but they might just do both.

Ghost I think is going to be marvelous if done right -- something that makes Ex-Aid so great for me is how good "clear plastic part over a sticker" looks in regards to the eyes and the chest readout; and Ghost's entire body is made of that! Really hoping he turns out well since he's turned into a real favourite of mine

I wonder if they would put out a Zangetsu kit after a Gaim release, seeing as how they're the same undersuit.

Hell, if they really wanted to go all out, they could do a set that is just the different arms and include the proper swappable colored visors

Was Zangetsu more popular than Baron? Cuz I'm half-expecting to see him be the P-Bandai repaint. Other than him, Jinber Gaim, Gaim Yami, or just straight up Baron.

Baron was probably more popular, but that undersuit is an entirely different design that it would need a new mold.

Kachidoki Gaim could work too with a few part swaps

I think you overestimate just how much work a Premium Bandai repaint can do... like, for starters, Gaim and Baron don't even share the same undersuit. I can't think of many parts they do share beyond the shin armour? It'd be impressive enough if they did Zangetsu considering the sheer amount of different parts there

Considering Preban puts out all-new kits often, I just won't be too surprised when something like this comes up.

I mean, so far for FRS Rider the limit has generally been 'black repaint with little to no parts'. Genm, Amazing Mighty, Joker; they're basically the exact same release as the originals with like 5 new parts (which Ryuga, Proto Drive etc would also follow). They pushed it a lot with Den-O's forms but that's because they were able to take advantage of the armour gimmick and it's Den-O; unless the line expands more by the time they get to Gaim I wouldn't expect anything like this

By the way, I saw some customizer using some type of red paint that you could use for the eyes.

I have some glossy red metallic paint I can use for the eyes but I don't want to give up the transparent eyes.

The kit includes optional red foil stickers to put on top of the clear eye piece, suggesting that they knew it was going to be hard to see without some help.

I wish they included 2 eye piece parts

I think this is FRS, but it seems we're getting the Zero Suit + the Aegis Armor.

If you'd like, maybe try painting the eyes from behind? That way there's a glossy look while maintaining the translucent aspect.

I think that would work. I've never actually tried it so I don't know. Maybe test it on something else first.

I did end up doing this because I did it with Decade to great effect, however it's still very dark and hard to see. I think it can't be help apart from sticking an LED inside the head.

It looks gorgeous. Honestly better than I expected, and gives the SHF SS a run for its money with that plated gold.

Once again, super excited. And even more excited that it doesn't look like I'll have to paint much at all.

Oh, that is amazing! Seems like the silver is the one that's not pre-coated. Good, I already have a can of silver.

My only real gripe now is how his elbows are built. Would have preferred something cleaner like W or Ex-Aid's elbows, but it's fine enough.

Probably should put my order in now.

Yeah strange that we are back to the double jointed elbow. Neither Decade nor Ryuki had it. I just don't know how they determine it. Is it based on the poses they expect to put the figure in? I wonder if we'll get another toe bend. I can see Wizard having it because he does a lot of kicking and his shoes would be able to hide a joint better than most.

I'm actually okay with the duller shade of silver. I worry that because I more or less use the same paint colors for the figures, they will start to blend in with each other too much.

The only thing I have a concern over is the head crest. Having to take off the whole head piece to replace it seems a little dangerous. I could easily see the part snapping at the bridge of the nose.

I can see one snipping the edges of the pegs so it's easier to plug and un-plug his face.

I already have the SS Agito but...Since I can't find my SS box, and I don't want to pay the insane cost it is nowaday, this model kit seems like a good alternative. (I'm moving so....cardboard boxes and all and all, you know what that means x) )

Edit : Also : what a time to be a Kamen Rider fan, those model kits are available in Europe, We don't have the figuarts, but we have these.

I don't think the forearms and shins are stickers. You can see the parts on the runner. It's the same style and design as Kuuga's forearm pieces.
