These designs practically screams Kamen Rider Fortnite and I find that hilarious.

Daipan looks cute.

He doesn't have a Raise Buckle equipped to his torso yet. He'll probably look a lot cooler with more Buckles.

Huh, so first impresssions:

• Buffa, looks good can't really go wrong with a rib cage chest design for a undead themed rider.
• Daipan, the giant helmet still looks a little goofy, but the Star eye is interesting.
• Naago, actually not a fan of the helmet. I get the designers were going for an operator/soldier style helmet. But the way the headphones seemingly go through the cat ears makes me think of a giant piercing. And the glasses on top of the cat eyes look weird to me.
• Tycoon, is nice. The helmet looks the most rider-ish to me even compared to Buffa. As others have mentioned, there's not a lot to go off since they're not using any buckle and are just standing there (menacingly).

Also judging from the pink strap Naago appears to be using the Hammer buckle.

And I had completely forgotten about Zamonas' weapon so I assumed the only thing available would've been the Kamikiri bow. So that's nice to see. Now I'm curious as to what shield will be, cause I don't think they'll repaint the Fourze shield again, but who knows at this point.

Naago's gimmick is supposed to be dancing if you believe the rumors, so I wonder if the headphone is meant to convey they're an idol like character? Especially if they're the female Rider.

I'm curious how soon before we see "complete" Tycoon.

Damn there's a lot of purple badies in Reiwa. Horobi, Calibur and Buffa in Rider, Gaisoulg, Staceasar and Murasame in Sentai. Does this all go back to how hugely influential Ouja was, or is is purple as an "evil" color extend out of toku in Japan?

And where is my promised lamb Mary? Okay, for designs:
- Buffa is generally good;
- The Tycoon is very nondescript, especially for the supposed secondary rider. I think the theory that he will initially be a weak player in basic form and become a full-fledged rider just before Christmas is confirmed.
- Naago looks cool and very girly;
- Daipan is trash, but in a good way. Honestly, I don?t see the first victim in him (rather it will be the sacrificial lamb), rather the main clown of the show.
But it's hard to tell just from the head. Seeing the full suit and the action may change my mind.

Likely not worth the effort for a DX toy. More likely the more premium buckles will have electronics of their own for lights and/or sound so just having the pin combo will still be incomplete. Wheras the basic buckles like hammer would be simple.

My guess is it might be like what Build did. The normal Fullbottles had unique rails but ones that have their own electronics have one unified rail combo. You can see it with the Sparkling Can, Cross-Z Build Can etc. I could be wrong though, but that's what I think.

Quite likely, or like Ultraman Trigger where they do have different rail combos for each so the Spark Lens would give the correct lights and some sounds with DX hyper keys, but most sounds were meant to come from the DX Hyper Key itself. Whereas the SG and GP keys all sounds came from the Spark Lens.

I thought the same thing. Not sure how I feel about it.

Ace's actor reminds me of Don Momotaro actor, forgot his name. Otherwise, all interesting choices for casting. Oh and I expected Buffa's actor to be more buff, but I guess that's that.

I'm looking forward to the John Cena Rider.

Assuming these are real then a major key point is that Tycoon and Dapan/Daipan are brother and sister. Combined with that very accurate rumor which also mentions Daipan leaves the DGP early on, this means things will either end in tragedy or... actually scratch that, this situation will likely only end tragically.

Personally, I really want the actors of Tycoon and Buffa to change roles. But who knows what he will be like in the show?

I imagined Buffa more stern and older. In general, everything is very nice, a lot of girls. Just in case, remember that this is only a rumor so far and it is possible that one of the actresses is actually not a rider at all (although, remembering the story of Hiromi, it may well become one)

Considering that Merry only has a name, I'm guessing that she will either be quickly removed from the game, sending the costume for spare parts, or she will be a mysterious character who keeps to herself, knows more than others, but does not say anything. Well, or everything is much simpler and this is just a lack of information.

By the way, it makes sense to make a raccoon (I know that a tanuki is a different animal, but visually similar) and a panda siblings. Apparently, when they joined the game, they took a family rate.

That being said, I don't mind Danpan's large head. Like... if it was a weird squished head i feel like that wouldn't work. Also guessing on like the fortnight character it's potentially based off of... I don't really see the resemblance aside from big bear head. Like it could totally have been inspired but I don't see it as a repaint. It doesn't have beady eyes with pupils, it's ears aren't even the same shape, nor is it as silly looking as that one. Like the most you can say it's "ripping off" is the head shape which I mean... it's a Panda?

The head looks very strange, so most likely a photoshop. Another thing is that the basic forms are unlikely to be diverse, so the photo is not far from the truth.

Yeah, it's like claiming Lupinranger ripped off Kamen Rider Lupin, even though they were both derived from Arsene Lupin. I honestly don't know much about Fortnite, but presuming there's some character in that who has a large panda head, well yeah, animals are always getting caricatured based on their distinctive traits. It's not surprising that Daipan would have the same thing.

I am surprised that Daipan is a girl though, even more that her actress is Kohaku's older sister. I kind of want to see a Geats x Donbrothers special now, like those crossover episodes that aired in 2016 and 2017.

I'm surprised we're getting more female Riders than usual. I was thinking they'd use the whole violent and physical e-sports thing premise as an excuse to make Naago the token girl trying to play with the boys.

Female riders are popular even if their toys don't sell very well. I think Toei tries to please all categories of fans and, if possible, attract new ones. Plus, I personally think they are slowly setting the stage for a female main rider.

I just remembered, we had two blue Secondary Riders called Kagami and now we have two green Secondary Riders called Sakurai. What surname is going to repeat next?

Naago being the token esports girl was a reasonable prediction for sure, but then I thought Merry's silhouette looked vaguely female. Didn't expect a third though! Not even Sentai gets that many girls. I hope this means there will be more chance of having a good female Rider. The last full-time female Rider I kind of liked was Valkyrie and even she stumbled in a few places.

I would've expected Bandai to sell the Bugle Driver Zwei with Poppy's Gasshat, so people would've had to purchase Cronus' Gasshat separately. I was definitely surprised by how much confidence they had in Poppy to not do that.

A female Primary Rider though? They haven't even done a female Secondary yet. I doubt they'd go for such an extreme jump. But if they did, I'd like someone with a good record for writing competent girls, like Komura or Fukuda. It has to be done right if it's going to stick.

Kinoshita was told immediately that he couldn't do a female Main Rider, which is why Jeanne was as prominent as she was, and I doubt that's changed much.

I think we might someday see a female Secondary, but probably not any time soon.

There were some early Reiwa rumors a long time ago that suggested a lead rider duo of brother and sister and I think that would be a good idea to bring a female rider into the forefront.

Speaking of riders, the most repeated surname is, of course, Tachibana. Although, maybe Reiwa decided to abandon this tradition.

I think it was right after Zero-One. And if you look, Geats is the third season in a row where we will see brother and sister riders.

I'm excited by the prospect of having 3 (and potentially more as the series goes on) women riders... though I do wonder about Takahashi's ability to handle it? Takahashi has always come off to me as a guy who "wants to be progressive/inclusive but sometimes fumbles things in practice" or something like that?

I'd say Valkyrie is kind of a good example of this... Generally I liked Yaiba but i feel like compared to our other riders in that show she sort of got the short end of the stick a lot of the time...

I also really like Nico in ex-aid quite a bit in terms of how much personality she had, but the way she was handled in terms of being a "kamen rider" well, personally I'm still mad she never got her own suit lol (though who knows if that was up to Takahashi at all or of it was a toei/producer thing)

I have faith Takahashi will try his best, I'm just not sure how good that will be? In the end it's just an "only time will tell" situation though so I'm not going to worry about it too much for now

Maybe I?ll go a little off topic, but it always seemed to me that the claims to the plot of the Valkyrie were not justified. That is, she is the third rider of Zero-One, and third riders have traditionally received less forms and more suffering since the days of Agito and the suffering Gills. I mean, is Yaiba's story really that different from Saber's Kento? And he still received a lot of attention, as for the third rider. So I still think Valkyrie's gender has little to do with her role on the show.

One of the benefits at least of having more than one female Rider is the onus isn't to get a single one "perfect" because they're the token, at least, even though Naago will probably be the main one as the (presumed) tertiary.
