Well we have some hope, I know Blazblue Chrono Phantasma first came out for the arcades then got put on consoles. I'm sure if the fans ask for it, they'll know there is a market for it.

I'm not the one making a statement over how I don't care about the genre, going so far as to state that I don't even like the genre of games.

If you didn't know that the Fighting game scene in Arcades still thrive in Japan, fine. It's not as common knowledge as I thought.
But if you're going to get defensive with the argument of "I don't like fighting games," it just raises the question of, regardless of who's on the front cover, why would you show any interest in it if you've already explicitly stated that you don't like the genre?

Also, I never even criticized Tekken, my statements basically boiling down to "I don't like Tekken" and "It's running on Tekken 6's engine"

If this gets a western release you can bet that my main will be Blaziken, i'm pretty sure he will be in the game. I mean he's like the most popular fighting type next to Lucario.

Can't say I've played much Tekken, but Pokken Tournament looks like it could be a very fun game.

Somebody jokingly said that since they put the Blue falcon and Mute city into Mario kart 8 but not Captain Falcon that they'll be holding off to put him as DLC until Pokken.
He said it as a joke but now i want to see if they can pull that off. :lol

Why does Europe continue to get the best special editions?

As if Ubisoft fucking us over with every Assassin's Creed release weren't enough, Nintendo is continuing the trend with yet more Pokemon exclusives (much like XY and even MK8 before them...).

ORAS will be in metal cases for the European release. And preorder bonuses will include a pretty sweet figurine of Primal Groudon or Primal Kyogre.

Let's save the complaining for later and wait and see if we get news for the American fans.

All we have so far is a double sided poster. On one side is Primal Groudon and Primary Kyogre and on the other side is Mega Diancie.

There's still ample precedence to indicate it will remain overseas. So my disappointment expressed seems fairly justifiable.

Considering the sheer mass of stuff Europe and Australia miss out on compared to America, I'm not exactly sympathetic about something as insignificant as a Special Edition not coming out in the US. If we whined every time something wasn't available to us we'd simply never shut up.

Note that the MK8 "Special Edition" you mention that only included a crappy tiny Blue Shell figurine retailed at $30 more then the regular edition (or up to $50 depending on the store), or $60 more then the regular edition costed in the US. You're not exactly missing out on anything worthwhile.

I found a MAJOR downside to using a serial code for the Pinsirite & Heracrossite mystery gift event, it can only be used on one game, meaning you need 2 serial code cards from Gamestop to get the different Mega Stones.

It really irks me whenever I see American complaining about the stuff we get in Europe. We occasionally get some nice stuff, but you have no idea how much stuff we've missed out on in the past and still continue to not get. Not to mention the massive delays we usually have to suffer through. It wasn't that long ago that we were waiting 3-6 months for Pokemon games after the US releases.

The steel cases are cool and all, but do you still think they're that great when you realise they're the equivalent of $85 US? Having to pay an extra £20 for fancy cases isn't exactly something people here are jumping in joy for. Oh, and we're still getting the game a week later. Have fun spoiling all the secrets for us online while we're still over here waiting.

Are the steel books a widespread thing? I read that the figurines are exclusive to the Nintendo UK store (which means full RRP and probably late shipping *sigh*, oh well), but nothing specific about the steel books.

There is no reason to play a game of "which region has it worse" when a person makes a minor complaint. Valid points exist for discussion, but there's no need to accuse one another of whining and the like, because at the end of the day the availability of preorder bonuses and special editions of video games is one of the most first-worldest of first world problems imaginable.

Bringing up the facts that there's still the week delay AND that the steelbooks cost extra suffices. Hell, I had no idea they were extra until now.

My local gamestop didn't even have the X & Y poster pre-order poster, Really don't feel like going all the way to the mall.... but hey they have 10x better customer service than my local one.

I already have my game preordered at Deerbrook mall GameStop. (The customer service at the mall locations are always better then the standalone locations anyway.)

Should've pre-ordered at Willobrook and we could've meet up on launch day :p
