They might do it like last time, reveal them at their big event in November and put them up for pre-order like one month before they release.

Before Revice the main Rider was revealed late September and pre-orders went live early October. Seems like that won't happen this time.

So what do you guys think Bandai is gonna do this time around to get Geats at that entry level price point? My guess is that it'll come with the magnum shooter but not the piece that turns it into rifle mode, also limited hand options (fists, relaxed, and gun holding hands).

I think in the show they swap out the prop rifle with one that has a larger barrel, so I can see Tamashii make two versions of the shooter (similar to how the Vice figure came with two sized versions of the axe )

But to keep the price lower, I can imagine Geats having just the shooter in the smaller pistol mode, and the rifle being packed with the second retail figure. We've seen this trend of the second retail figure being bundled with extra stuff for a couple years now

I think Geats straight up won't come with his gun. You could certainly argue it's more important for Magnum Boost to have at least some version of it because Magnum immediately grants you it; but it's not like Saber where it's so integral that it would be a joke to come without it.

I guess we don't have a comparable situation to that 'middle ground' since Build, Zi-O, Zero-One and Revi's weapons were all pretty ancillary. Could see it going either way but my feeling is that unless their hand is absolutely forced like with Saber, they won't include the weapon

I think it would be an absolute joke if the form called "Magnum Boost" does not come with the gun, and all-time low for Tamashii Nations if they pull that stunt.

The "gun but not rifle"-scenario seems more likely to me. Or hey, wishful thinking, they just include both via swap-out barrel so the handle doesn't need to be molded and painted twice.

Well, to be clear... I would also find it a joke, but I also think most of mainline SHF is a bit of a joke for this kind of thing. I'm meaning relatively :lol

And that just made me think about how the ex-aid shf line had the hunter gamer figures for Brave and Snipe and Ex-Aid. They have done similar very small partial form things for figures in the past. (And also excluded accessories in those hunter releases, like Snipe?s gun and Brave?s sword).
