I know they're interchangeable phonetically in Japan, but it still irks me when it's written by an English speaker as "TaJaDol."

Alright watched episodes 35-43 of Dairanger, and man they waste time in this show too much filler and DaiRyuJin feels like a waste. However I did like the 3 Idiots/Shouji, Ryou/Jin, and Daigo/Kujaku arcs though.

Episodes 3 and 4 of ZyuRanger loved the Legendary Weapons Arc of it. Geki is slowly becoming on of my favorites and the same with Goushi.

Watched episode 6 and 7 of DekaRanger. I absolutely fucking love Sen he is totally awesome, was kind of slow with the Jasmine episode.

I think it's probably "Qilin" and "Kirinranger" rather then sticking to one because "Qilin"is generally accepted as the English translation for the beast which comes form the Chinese word which is pronounced "Ch'i-lin", while "Kirin" is a direct romanization of the Japanese word. I'm starting Dairanger today (yay) so I'm not sure if I'm correct, but I assume it's "Ryuranger" and "Dragon" rather then "Dragonranger" and "Dragon" or "Ryuranger" and "Ryu" and similarly with "Houhouranger" and "Phoenix", so it is keeping things consistent. The rangers keep the romanization of the Japanese pronunciation, while the mythical beasts get their accepted English names, which are all derived from Chinese mythology.

Also, "Kirin" in Japanese also means "Giraffe", so they could be avoiding people confusing the Qilin with a Giraffe too, I guess.

Waste time in this show? Episodes 37-50 are nothing but story. In fact, the only filler in the show are really episodes 2, 11, 12, 23, 32, and 34. Everything else is centered around the main plots and sub plots. In fact, DaiRanger is probably the only Sentai series that isn't full of filler (one of the many reasons it is my favorite Sentai series).

So all that stuff with Jin, Kujaku, the Idiot Brothers and the whole gap of Kou being missing and let's do all this stuff in between pays off in the end?

I am actually enjoying the show just think the execution of something is bad.

Also Kaku is the worst mentor ever so far.

Only the Kou stuff is integral to the plot. The Jin and Idiot Brothers stuff does have great pay off (Jin especially, he's one of the best Sentai side characters ever) but neither are exactly essential things.
