Ehh. I liked the mecha and TsueTsue/Yabaiba but other than that the show didn't really do all that much for me. The general orgs were too MOTW looking for me and I didn't particularly resonate with any of the cast. It was by no means a bad series but for me it was just...there.

Which is EXACTLY how I felt about Wild Force too funnily enough :lol

Yellow, Red, and Silver really hooked me. Surprisingly so with Yellow since he started off as such a dick. But once his back story was elaborated on I grew to like him. Red was a total dope that you couldn't help but love. And Silver AKA Rouki was just awesome. I thought I would hate the mecha and really everything about the show after having seen the Wild Force train wreck back in the day. But it's become one of top 5 favorite sentai after seeing it.

Oh yeah, the Rouki arc was the highlight of the whole show. I absolutely loved that.

That storyline is probably one of the best super evil and eventually redeemed character arcs in sentai.

Wow episode one of Gaoranger was fantastic, great action sequences, really cool lore and mythology - GaoEagle is probably my favourite so far, I love how he is in yellow but is the most badass there but really all the characters were enjoyable, minus 'the girl one' who just seemed kinda there because you can't make pink a man, that'd be insane!

But then I really enjoyed the first quarter or so of Wild Force as well, I found that with a lot of early Disney seasons that they would start well and lose themselves towards the middle, so I guess time will tell whether Gaoranger is consistent in quality or falls apart as well.

Thinking about it, I just realized that's rather true...Huh.

That's because most of them blew their budgets by that point and had to recycle more footage and props :lol

Yay for more people who like Gaoranger!!

Even seasons I adore like Jungle Fury stumbled a fair amount in the middle and only just got itself back on track by the end. The only one that really bucks the trend is SPD where the quality dips and sky rockets on a rollercoaster like basis.

Well, I'd rather take that than Saban's sea of crap with mere glimpses of potential recently.

As for me on the Sentai side of things, I was deleting Gekiranger files off my laptop to make room for Ultraman Nexus, and my dumbass deleted the Jetman subs in the process.
God dammit.

Watched GaoRanger episode 5 and enjoyed seeing GaoElephant and I forget her name but whoever picked the GaoRangers and powers the tv was awesome. Also I love the Villains right now with Shuten, Yabaiba and TsueTsue (I think that's her name.)
