I feel like they'll just use this for that.

For this reason only, I can accept if someone like Mei have the possibility to control the darkest sword in kamen rider history.

It's nice that the classic red Brave Dragon suit is still around. When Xross Saber first showed up, I wondered if they permanently painted over the only suit they have! (rip Ichigata, Thouser and possibly Jaou Dragon)

Already thinking that for the finale, they'll pull a Realizing Hopper and have red Saber deal the final blow on the villain.

While not strictly relevant but I found a fan made seiken meant as an upgrade for espada on Twitter like cross Saber but triangular in style and golden

That would be nice, especially if the sword ended up responding to her anxieties in a battle. It'd be a nice role reversal between Kurayami and its user, as well as an excellent reason for someone with almost no sword-wielding experience to suddenly have a cool trick like the sword being something she can move with her mind.

plus the dark powers are very powerful so it wont kill her either.

Everybody keeps wanting Mei or Sophia to wield a Sword but like, the show literally showed Yuri wielding both. They'll prob have either him or Ghost-Dad wield it whenever needed.

Unless I missed some crucial plot point that he no longer can.

But here's the thing, the stance of the new Calibur is neither that of Yuri or the older one. It's a feminine stance.
