I got gaim and baron last week, and I must say they are mouth-wateringly beautiful. I also had the same problem with gaim; had to put a little glue on the musou sabre holder. Not too much though, as I was afraid the glue might get stuck on his waist articulation. Baron's right elbow guard also fell off and I had to glue that in. So these flaws detracted from an otherwise perfect experience for me.

Nah. Sentai Tamashii and I split EMS orders at Amiami so he gets my stuff and 2-day priority mails it to me. It was supposed to be delivered on the 5th but has spent the entire week in various sort facilities in New York :(

Middleman sites are going to put up the preorders when they decide they want to - it's not like they all work on a schedule. Some actually opened them up early a couple weeks ago, l'd heard.

Is there a reason to rush on a Toei Hero Net exclusive? Like, an order limit or something?

Yeah, my contact informs me that Toei Hero net exclusive is made in even fewer numbers than TWS.

OUCH. That explains the desire for expedience! I know some of the bigger middlemen like Yokatta have access to multiple addresses, but that's much worse than working around Tamashii Web's limit of 24 or whatever. Good luck to all getting in on the blood orange hunt!

I emailed Nippon Yasan to ask if they'd be putting him up yesterday and they were very "Eh we'll consider it. This could take a while" with their response. Gonna give them a day or so more before I just buy elsewhere.

I pinged their CS chat service earlier and they said they would put it up, but they had no idea when, so take that for what it's worth. I prefer to go through them since I can pay later, but if they drag their feet I'll just go through one of the other places that has it up already once I get paid on Thursday.

Yeah, that's pretty much what I'm thinking too. At least they've said they will put it up though.

I still haven't had any problems with the Musou Saber clip on my Gaim, but I have run into another, more annoying issue.

His right wrist won't stay together. The peg that connects the two halves of the ball joint just slides right out. I've tried taking a pair of tweezers to push it together (which did slightly damage it, so I'm not keen on doing it anymore), and it did get pushed together entirely flush after that. But then immediately slid back out after popping off a hand. Which happens every time I pop one off, so it is quite annoying.

Sometimes I wonder what the hell's the point of making a figure in absurdly small numbers. Either release it fully, or don't release it.

I imagine Middleman services like Yokatta must make a lot of dummy accounts with different addresses to get around that limit.

How do web exclusives sell out? Aren't they made to order?

Typical that they'd put it up at a time I was asleep but oh well, will remember in the future that ToeiHero exclusives aren't worth the hassle with them.

So I preordered Green Clover from NY yesterday, but I haven't paid him or (or Shadow Chaser) yet. I'm going to wait to see how the service is from Tiger Ranger first since I paid for him back in Feb.

I know quite a few people got burned in the Kyoryu Gold debacle, but nearly all of my SHF pre-orders since I started collecting have come through N-Y and I've never had an issue greater than waiting a few extra days between release and shipment. I just paid off the remainder of this month's purchases with them yesterday.

Yeah most (all?) middleman sites have sold out by now, so you'll have to wait until he's released and see if you can snap up any stock from canceled/unpaid orders when he's released or wait for Mandarake/Jungle/AmiAmi to get some trickling in.

I got TriceraRanger from them and it had shipped out a day before I got the email, so I got it in less than a week. no problems with them. I think KyoryuGold is the only time they have had problems lately. Havent heard anything since.

Aw drat. Well I'll have to hope I can find him for a decent price when he's released because I don't feel like shelling the 100 dollars ImageAnime is asking for him.

Maybe I'll pre order Jinba Gaim instead in the meantime.

So have the SDCC exclusives all been announced at this point? I know they won't give us something like the Power Rangers Samurai 5-pack again, but surely there's something Sentai related coming for the event, right?

What does open/box damage means exactly on mandarake

That the box may have a scratch or small dent in it. Mandarake's version of damaged is a LOT different from most sites.

Usually it's fine, but still, be careful. On Mandarake I prefer not opened/box damaged. The so-called "damage" is impossible to detect in my eyes.

Be warned, though...I got a faded Robot Damashii Tauburn one time when it said that...

Rumor has it that it we might get a Super Megaforce 5-pack and a possible metallic paint of Robo Knight/Gosei Knight.

Where did that rumour come from?

Sounds highly unlikely.

Metallic Gokaigers sounds almost likely, but I think Robo-Knight is pushing it.
