How is DHL shipping cost from amiami for a single SHF?

The last couple boxes I did with them were around 2,000 - 3,500 yen shipping. The largest bundle I did was a So-Do case and the smaller style SHF box

I just tried to order 2 SHF and the EMS shipping was 5,576 JPY. Seems a little high? Would DHL be cheaper?

It does seem high. In October I shipped a Mafex and a recent SHF for 3,299

Was that EMS or DHL?

I wish they showed a quote for all the options and let you pick.

EMS had a rate increase at the beginning of this year (2023). DHL might have too, but they don't announce it.

Edit: Oh I'm dumb, when you go to finalize the payment, it does in fact show you all the options. DHL is much cheaper at 3,493JPY.

When shipping to the US, 9 times out of 10 DHL's usually the cheapest option for fast shipping.

FedEx has been the best for me, but amiami doesn't use it.

I believe DHL usually wins out in price because they operate by volume over weight.
