For Sentai fans who don't like ponies, but are curious of the joke:
The pony (Scootaloo), who is a pegasus who doesn't know how to fly, was called a chicken in an episode (Both in reference to being afraid of the current situation and that she can't fly). It stuck with the fandom and nowadays, she's commonly referred to as a Chicken.

And this has been "Explaining the joke" with Matrixbeast.

GoRanger episode 1. Yeah, the first episode of Sentai. It's aged well-ish, though still VERY 70's. Their villains are the KKK and Pink's weapons are very sexist. It is still the 70's, after all. On the other hand, the overeating fat guy and random cowboy hat tropes start here, so there's fun to be had. Now, I wouldn't be interested in 80 episodes of this, but it's still a fairly strong first episode which is good for a series that's lasted 37 years.


Go-Busters 1-4. This rewatch brought to you by Go-Busters Returns, which sparked my love for this show once again. These early episodes are still some of the best Sentai ever.

Watching episode 20 of Kyoryuger, everytime one of these guys got they're wishes granted i just yelled out. "Oh come on!"

I loved how Ramires just randomly showed up with ice cream.

And it was at that point that i facepalmed at how stupid this scenario was. Then i laughed along with it.

Is Ramires popular in Japan? Because I can't fathom why he'd show up this often in the series otherwise.

He's the most unique ranger i've seen so far maybe.

I'm still trying to figure out why they casted a man who cannot act for **** as Ramirez.

Anyway, now that I have finished MMPR S2 I'm going to start watching what GUIS has released thus far of KakuRanger before I watch S3.

It's been stated multiple times that he's acting like that intentionally to make his character sound more foreign.

I'm still trying to figure out how you've missed the point of that joke for 3 months. He can act, he's intentionally playing an English speaking character, who isn't native to Japan, and can't speak the language very well. He's meant to sound like a foreigner.

In reality his actor has lived in Japan for most of his life and speaks VERY fluently. Do some research before you complain next time.
