To be quite honest, my love for Transformers has hindered on a massive scale. And that is why I have been selling off more than half of my collection. I'm just not into the series as much as I used to be. Part of it is due to the saturation of the TF market, part from the god awful movies, but the majority is from the cancellation of Animated. Animated was turning into the best TF ever, taking the story telling of Beast Wars, adding in homages to G1, while also making the toys identical to the show in design and transformation, that I got really bummed when they canned it, especially when Prime is what they replaced it with. Every time I buy a new Transformer, I transform him once, throw him on the shelf, and then never touch him again, which made me realize I am keeping them for nothing.

Yup, that pretty much became the case for me too. I like Prime (nowhere near as much as Animated, but it could be a whole lot worse), but this is the very reason I've kept from buying any of the toys.

Well, that and horrific UK prices/distribution :lol

In actual fact, the same has happened to me. Now I'm only collecting Classics related stuff, Prime and G1 vintage. Of cos Soundwave. Sold off all my Animated sans a select few that I would like to keep, Masterpieces as well and other misc stuff. Next to go would be movie and unicorn trilogy stuff. But damn that's a lot to sell so I'm taking it easy.
