I honestly don't get all of the hype around the Fallout series. I tried playing New Vegas and everything I hated about Oblivion I hated about it, including the amount of glitches. After about 20 hours of playing I felt like I accomplished absolutely nothing and just sold it off. It doesn't mean it is a bad game, but I expected so much because of the hype and it failed to deliver. I guess it just isn't a series for me.

Weirdly enough I agree with you at a basic level, not the glitches mind you. But Fallout is something I've never ever liked. And that continues with what I've seen of 4. I have zero understanding of where all the hype comes from for Fallout.

But if anyone wants to talk about the "winner of E3" this year though, to me personally it's Sony in general.

Yep. I am much more interested in Fallout 4 now that I've seen more footage, but this game seems overhyped to hell. I think it's because of the distance from New Vegas and people's desires for a current gen game. And I know Fallout 3 sold a lot, but the series also is very glitchy, which lowers my expectations compared to the hype.

I feel like Sony won as well. A remake of Final Fantasy 7 is something that was tease way back in 2005 with the tech demo on the PS3 and Final Fantasy 7 itself has a lot of nostalgia value to a lot of people (including myself). When a official remake was announced, it blew up everywhere.

I personally think Microsoft won. Adding backwards compatibility to the Xbox One is a pretty smart move. I know you may be saying "a lot of people still have their Xbox 360s. Why would they need backwards compatibility when they have their 360 right there?" I think it's a smart move on the account of: 1) Most people sold their 360 for the One and still have their games 2) it saves space and allows people to put away their 360 and retire it. Another good thing about this is that people can play online on their 360 games on the Xbox One. Now besides this, that demonstration for Hololens was great. Would love to see what other applications this would have with other games.

I don't understand why people are saying Microsoft won E3 because they promised backwards compatibility for the One.

Does no one remember when they did the same for the 360 and how it ultimately turned out?

If you guys look, the list for backwards compatibility isn't even that great. It is up to the individual game studios if they want their 360 game to be playable on the X1. Sad, but true.

I can't agree there. The winners of E3 are the gamers because we all won since there was a game shown for each and every one of us. We may debate and whine and bitch about some of the conferences and some of the games revealed, but in the end, every company had such a rich amount of diversity that no matter what type of gamer you are, something for you was revealed.

Sony had the best stuff though, so they won. It's nice that you get so many cool stuff to chose from, Sony still won.

Not that I care much about who "won", I'm just sad I watched Nintendos livestream and felt sad afterwards. Really weak performance.

Unless you own a Wii-U or play fighting games...

Regardless I only felt like a fool for getting suckered into the overhype of E3 again.

the game I'm probably the most excited about is probably Genei Ibun Roku #FE.

the game is colorful, the music is great, the battle system looks really good, and I am loving all of the designs. especially Cain and Toma. they are straight up toku designs.
