Don't know if this is news or not, but: Figma Phoenix Wright.

Oh nice! I had a feeling the anime might be the final push to persuade Max Factory to get him into the line :D
A definitely buy for sure, can't wait to have him hanging with Revoltech Layton. Would be very tempted to pick up Maya and Edgeworth if they did them too. |
I'd much rather have them make an Apollo figma before Edgeworth and Maya because he's supposed to be the franchise Protagonist alongside Phoenix yet Capcom always ignores him in the merchandise and crossovers.

Now #304 is before #300.. Where is Gil!?!
I've no attachment to this particular Caster so don't really want her. I'm willing to bet some anime adaptation of Extra will happen (wait.. isn't one actually happening?) that will make me regret that decision though. |

Nice waiting for Kazuma to be in stock so I haven't gotten payment request yet
|
Figma Guyver II (OVA version) went up tonight. I pre-order it as soon as I saw it. I thought the Figma Guyver line would be dead!

Samus looks amazing, but I wish she came with a Metroid or a different creature rather than the Other M alternate head.

A tiny part of me wishes they catered to the Smash audience and gave her a whip heh.
But don't really care, gonna get her. |

Seems like Figma Kazuma Kiryu's been delayed till August
In the meantime, AmiAmi went ahead and sent me a payment request for Figma Yugi so I should be getting that soon enough. |

I got Figma Yami Yugi the other day. He is a really great looking figure, but I do admit that he does have some flaws. I personally hate putting the Duel Disk on his arm and I was worry that I may broke the figure by putting it on arm. You can still get some good poses out of him though. I still recommended owning the figure if you are a fan of the franchise.

What surprised me is Bandai not getting yugioh as in he Shonen jump character I dunno other not going to Bandai but surprise.yugioh didn't cause look what Bandai could of added to there monster art line
|
I remember Bluefin on their Facebook page comment on a fan question on their wall asking for Yu-Gi-Oh figures like S.H MonsterArts Blue Eyes White Dragon. They mention that they try too, but license issues got in the way. Figma probably got the rights to Yu-Gi-Oh before Tamashii could.
|
What's shame cause for me it don't feel right seeing Shonen jump character not being in figuarts.form

And honestly, when it comes to animated designs, I prefer Figma over Figuarts. Their design style lends itself better. The joints on Figuarts are always too... obvious. Compare Sailor Moon or the Precures to anything put out by Figma. |
Been looking into Figmas recently since I like both Atem & Lucina, so their figures appeal to me. But I've never had any before so I gotta ask; how do these fair up to other action figure lines? What are the pros & cons of Figmas in general? How frequently do they get released? How do the sizes feel?

- Lends themselves very well to animated designs - You tend to get quite a bit of kit depending on the character, and their alternate face parts are a lot more expressive than Figuarts. - semi-soft but flexible plastic means that they move very smoothly. - They "hide" their joints better than most other styles. Cons: - More "realistic" designs are just not their area of expertise (such as The Avengers or especially Bruce Lee) - GSC tends to go overboard with their in-house shop preorder bonuses, sometimes relgating signature or "necessary" accessories or expressions to bonuses you can only get through them. - They tend to underproduce figures that are extremely popular. - Aftermarket gets out of hand FAST and never really settles down. Example: Fate/Unlimited Blade Works Archer. - Release dates are frequently treated as a suggestion rather than a rule. Quote:

GSC picked up legend of Korra license and is doing a Korra Nando

Finally! The colored prototype will begin some kind of journey to a few toy-shows starting with Anime Expo and ending with Wonder Festival Summer. I guess pre-orders go up after Wonder Festival.
