I think the best thing we've heard so far about X/Y is multiple new Fire-types for this region.

Hoenn only had three new Fires and in Sinnoh you were pretty much SOL unless you picked Chimchar at the beginning.

But now we already have Talonflame, Lileo and at least three potential Fire starters. :)

Chespins evo is so goofy it's amazing, I have no idea what that is going to turn into. Also calling fenekin turning into a witch, complete with broomstick ;)

I think Fennekin may become a Fire/Psychic as a final Evolution, but i may be wrong. We'll have to find out when the game comes out.

Seeing Mewtwo X has made me realise I don't mind the Y version so much.

They're both pretty underwhelming, but I prefer the more streamlined natural look of Y than the weird bulk of X. Its just the tail head that still kinda bothers me.

Badass Fennekin evolution is badass, and tht Garchomp evolution is amazing!

It's overused by this point, the last 3 fire starters were Fighting/Fire.

I don't hate them, hell my favorite Pokemon of all time is a Fire/Fighting. But the thing is, they're overdone and by gen 5 i think game freak was doing it to annoy the freaking hell out of us.

Most don't. It's having three Fire/Fighting starters in a row - four if you consider Black 2/White 2, as they were also main games - that quickly caused people to tire of them. There's nothing wrong with them... Most, including myself, just don't want the starter to be one again.

I want Fire/Fighting beyond the starters. I also want Grass/Ground and Water/Steel to go beyond the starters.
