The noise levels are ridiculous on mine. Guess it goes with the fact that it was designed with hardware uses in mind. I can use the single action brush I own as a good substitute for spray cans, but it's a blunt instrument at best. I'm actually looking forward to trying my hand at shading techniques.

I'd love to see a Double 0 Gundam custom that looks like the dragon styles of Kamen Rider Wizard. He's already got the dragon thing going on his chest.

I finished building MG Z'Gok, Char edition, last night. Still have to apply the stickers, but I likes it, it was a fund kit to build.

He looks great pal! |
Thanks!
I got most of the stickers in place last night, and about half of the dry transfers. I'll finish it up tomorrow, then deal with the difficult decision of what to work on next. :) |

Nope.
Well, sorta maybe, but not really. I was sent something, that I'm thinking was GM Quel, but almost the entire body of it was missing. i have a few weapons, and a bunch of empty plates, that's all. I've got MG 00 Seven Sword I'm doing a lot of paint on, MG Buster that I've started, NG 1/100 Dynames, RG Strike that needs some finishing up, PG Skygrasper I've started, the SDCC Exclusive HG Unicorn Destory Green frame or whatever it's called (probably sell that though, cuz I like 1/100 more than 1/144), and MG Guncannon. I think those are all my options. |

I've always wondered how the MG Guncannon would look in Titans colors. May I ask about the colors on the 00 Seven Swords? I love that particular variation of the 00. |

Metal Builds are UN-intuitively NOT buildable kits. They are 1/100 scale figures, with lots of beautiful, detailed sculpting and paint work, the inner frame appears to be all metal, at least as far as i can tell with the four I have. They are heavy, very poseable, and the build quality, these look and feel very high end. They can be pricy, but I'd say they're really quite worth it. Well, maybe not Seven Sword, being more rare it costs more than it should, but I could not be happier with 00-Raiser. Anytime I've paid $150+ for a figure, I've always ended up disappointed in one way or another. In most cases, I've ended up selling off said figures, because of that disappointment, and feeling like they're not worth what they cost me. Not so with MB Exia and 00-Raiser. Exia is awesome, I love being able to switch it to Exia Repair 3, it is well worth the $150-ish it costs. 00-Raiser is even more amazing, it looks fantastic in every way, it was definitely worth the $220-ish it cost me. I HIGHLY recommend these, though clearly they're not something everybody can afford, but it's worth passing on a few MGs to get. What else do you want to know? |
I'm getting the Mobile Suit Gundam and Zeta movie trilogies for Christmas!!!
.. it might not be as impressive as model kits but hey, whatever I can get will help.... |
No shame in that whatsoever. While the zeta movies differ at the end from the series, the original trilogy is actually quite good. Congrats on both counts.

I managed tobget some work done on the Age-1 today. I gave the runners a good scrub down and then preceded to construct the inner frame. It's not overly complex and breaks down rather well into its constituent parts. I'm debating whether to paint it or simply give it a top coat.

A very silly and cute episode of Build Fighters this week, the reveal of Bearguy's secret had me laughing for a long while. :lol
|
Episode 9 was good, had a crazy chick that wanted to defeat China even though no one but Reiji knew it :lol
Oh and Nils seems cool. That theme song, I love it! |
I love this thing:

Bearguy is totally badass for it's own fluffy reasons as well :lol |
Just got my payment request for the Fenice and Meteor Hopper :D

Just got the Build Booster and decided to play around with it a bit:
Here's the Real Grade Strike with it…of course it works perfectly: http://farm4.staticflickr.com/3746/1...730c9059_c.jpg People said that the booster was loose, but using it on the Strike…it's actually super tight Astray Blue Frame with the booster: http://farm4.staticflickr.com/3708/1...c31f225a_c.jpg Kinda works, but the connection is real loose. |

Oh and I forgot to mention- Anyone else notice the dang Allenby lookin girl with a green Nobell?! I want that now! |
I noticed Nobel's pilot too, love the easter eggs. This week's episode was fun. The pink cotton candy spewing bearguy of doom and the montage sequence complete with seaside run at sunset. Montage is definitely the best way to learn a new skill.
Continuing the progress of the AGE-1 normal: http://i1276.photobucket.com/albums/...psb9d256e0.jpg http://i1276.photobucket.com/albums/...pseb6d4676.jpg |
Anyone happen to have a Super Custom Zaku for trade/sale eh?
