High School typically encompasses 4 years, so it's entirely possible that they're at the same school, with Joe simply being a year or two ahead.

I hope that's true since I don't have a Vita and having it on the PS4 would be awesome. I haven't played a Digimon game since Digimon World 4.

Well...it's true that it's listed on Amazon.ca's site as a PS4 game. I'm hoping this means it gets a US release on the console as well.

The only Digimon game I played is actually Digimon Data Squad for the PS2.

I only played Digimon World back in the day. I really wanted to play RE: Digitize Decode, I was even promoting the petition, but sadly it never happened. Would be cool if Cyber Sleuth gets a PS4 release and they at least put it up in the western PSN or something.

Yeah, I also really wanted to play RE: Digitize. I was really sad when it didn't come to North America.

I feel like they kinda missed the boat on that one, but still want to bring us a game, which explains Cyber Sleuth. I was promoting the petition for Decode as well - apparently the game brought back a lot of elements from the first one, which is my favorite DW, so I was super excited for it. Oh well. Then I kept seeing things about maybe CS coming over, and I wasn't too into that idea since I have no interest in Vita at the moment (maybe in a few years when it'll hopefully be cheaper), but if they bring it to the PS4 then I'm all in.

I played all of the PS1 Digimon games a kid. Digimon World 2 was my favorite game in the series. Some people feel like DW3 was the best, but I had more fun playing the second game going from what I can remember.

Yep, Sleuth is confirmed for PS4 and Vita (digital-only for Vita) in America next year. I hope it's early on, I really want to play it.

I so getting this game I just upgrade to a Ps4 yesterday so I am happy with it.

I have a PS4, so good news for me. The Vita is pretty much dead in the US, so I can see why it's on the PS4. Not to mention a lot of people are already moving on to next gen systems. There's no reason to put the game on the Xbox One seeing that I doubt it will sell well on the XO.

also for the fact that Japan doesn't like Microsoft.

So, since Bandai-Namco developed Smash 4, and Digimon began as a video game owned by Bandai, and Bandai-Namco only has one representative (Pac-Man) while Capcom gets 2.

No. Not at all. I can't think of another recognizable Namco Bandai characters that have been on Nintendo systems. I think they'd be the perfect candidates.

Judging by the Mario Kart Arcade games I'd wager the Tamagotchi mascot would be the one to get it if another Namco Bandai character got in, but a Digimon character would be sweet.
