Everyone, have you watched today’s Kamen Rider Gaim?

Ah, from here on, I will be giving spoilers, so to anyone who has recorded it and hasn’t watched it, please do not read the following entry. >_<

Ah~… Even though I’m acting [in it] and I sort of know what kind of conclusion was coming, watching today’s broadcast still somehow made me sad,

Hase-chan, he was done in, wasn’t he…

Even during the crank-in period, I already knew that this was going to happen, and it didn’t bother me / stop me in my tracks… But, the moment I received the script for Episode 14 and read that such a thing was going to happen to Hase-chan, as expected I was sad. That feeling welled up within me. The cast, staff of Kamen Rider Gaim are really nice people, and at a very early hour in the morning, [we would suggest] shall we gather and go to the filming scene~… Just thinking of that, I really, there are no words I can use to describe it.

From Urobuchi-san, the writer, I received the comment, ‘Hase-chan is in the position of Mami-san from MadoMagi; he/she is the person that will create the turning point in the story!’ and with that, I felt the responsibility that I had to act it out well!

Ah, we also discussed “post-transformation Hase”! *laughs*

Because of Hase-chan’s death, the story will accelerate with a burst! That’s why, to be able to have acted for such an essential point in the story, it is something that fills me with pride. Because of that, everyone, from now on, please continue to support “Kamen Rider Gaim”! Nobody yet knows what will happen from now on!!

A thought that fills Shiramata with a pleasant feeling is…?? Since Hase-chan’s full name is Hase Ryouji…

It would be nice if he had an older brother (Ryouichi)… [1]

Ah, straying away from the original point of what I was saying…

I received a bouquet of flowers during the crank up time… And, the one who brought the flowers was!!! The one who plays Jounouchi, and who did not come in for filming that day, Matsuda Ryo-kun!!! Ah, I was seriously really happy!! In the show, in those final moments, he [Jounouchi] betrayed Hase-chan but… I was always together with Ryo-kun, the two of us, and he always earnestly talked to me and honestly accepted everything [I have to say]… I really appreciate it!! For this reason, I can’t help but be curious / interested in what happens to Gridon from now on… After all, he is the surviving member of the Nut Group. From now on, please continue to work hard!

Well then, this post became really long, so I’ll stop writing here!!

Ah, I forgot to say one thing…

Even though Hase-chan is dead… I do hope that he will continue to live on in everyone’s hearts! Occasionally, if everyone remembers, “Ah, such a guy once existed…” I would be really happy.

[1] “Ryouji” has the the kanji for “two” in the name. Atsushi-kun is referring to that “two”, speculating that it would be nice if Hase-chan had an older brother named “Ryouichi”, which has the kanji for “one”, meaning first son in relation to Hase-chan’s second.

Mitsuzanes henshin is all over the internet and Takatora doesnt know about it. Takatora is in charge of the whole Beat Rider operation and didnt find out about it. He fought against his own Brother in helheim and didnt get that it was Micchy.

Why would you think that when for example Sid lures Micchy into Helheim and fights/kills him that in this case Takatora would find out about his secret?
The only thing that Takatora would know is that his brother is freakin dead not that he is a rider.

You honestly think Micchy would believe Sid,especially since he knows how Sid works? Also I would think that because it's happened in pretty much every other rider series out there.Whenever there is a secret between two people,it's always found out.Doesn't matter if Micchy dies 300 miles away from Takatora.Then the question of "What if Kouta finds out Zangetsu is Micchy's older brother?" He'd be furious and tell him he killed him by giving Sid a driver.No secret is ever kept throughout an entire Rider series.

Who said anything about "believing Sid"? I said "luring him out" this could be done through multiple things like kidnapping Mai someone Micchy has great affections for or using an Invess to get him into helheim or just attacking him when Takatora isnt around.

Nobody said otherwise just that if Micchy would die Takatora wouldnt find out about it the second it happened. It could be a few Episodes till he realises what happened and who to blame.



Like you said in another post Sid is smart and thinks those things through and thats how I try to set up those scenarios. You on the other hand just see too simple outcomes.

Of course Sid would never fight Micchy and Takatora both at the same time. Of course he wouldnt take on Micchy if Kouta or any other Armored Riders could get in his way and most importantly he wouldnt fight fair. Sid is a bastard he would use every dirty trick in the book imaginable to guarantee hs victory.

That's what I mean."Luring him" would take a lot on Sid's part.It wouldn't be any kind of kidnapping because we saw how far Micchy was willing to go not to become a rider just to stop Yggdrasil.He was willing to let innocents get hurt.

I tend to see simple outcomes because that's usually what happens.That's just how the series is.Just like when they revealed the energy riders.Everyone was pretty sure Sigurd was going to be Sid because it was the logical choice,and he is.

And I totally agree with you.Sid is a very sneaky bastard.He'll sink to as low as he can,but he's also the type to make sure all loose ends are tied up and it doesn't get back to him.That's why I keep thinking he won't risk going after Micchy or Takatora.At least not yet.Even if he is an energy rider,there are still way too many ways for it to fail if he goes through with it.Will he try down the road,of course.Will he be alone when he tries? I highly doubt it.

My point is he can't just get away with killing Micchy or Takatora without the other finding out in some way,so he won't try until he has backup.

Apparently Kouta will receive a Lemon Energy Lock from DJ Sagura, and it'll be revealed he was originally part of the driver development team before Ryoma booted him. Also there's talk of a new Armored Rider, Knuckle, based on a Walnut Lock Seed. Supposedly it's someone who already appeared in show. Not Hasse, for obvious reasons.

Ohhh if that's true than yay, more Riders! Plus if I recall didn't Takatora, say they wanted to mass produce the genesis drivers? Could that be why Kouta is getting a Lemon NRG Lock Seed?

I feel....like that's gonna be the leader of Team Red Hot. Y'know the one Oren stole the Durian Lockseed and Sengoku Driver from. Maybe. 'Cause according to a spoiler summary I read for 16, Team Gaim will run into the dude.

I REALLY like the name kamen rider knuckle. I hope that's true.

I still think the best rumor I read so far is Baron Watermelon arms. I wanna see that! xD

Nope but its a nut. its in the same family of lock seeds as the Acorn one that Guridon uses.

I thought it was called Knuckle. Knuckles are a part of the body.

The rider is called Knuckle the Lock Seed he uses is the Walnut Lock Seed :)

Oh man they are both so epic! Especially that second one.

In the Knuckle thread people were talking about the Kurokages piloting the Suika arms and since both Barons and Zangetsu's armies have them could it be possible that Barons army instead of having the Kurokages instead have a Knuckle army?

Based on the footage from episode one, the pilots in all the Suika's are Kurkages.

They are but they aren't.

They're Kurokage's colours, but they have the Baron-style leg detail like the silver thigh pieces.

But who knows if that's just because the animation was unfinished/it wasn't decided just what the grunt trooper would look like.

Am I the only who doesn't really like the fact that all of the energy riders have the same weapon? How come they all have to have bows and arrows? Why not at least have another type of weapon for them to use so their is some variety?

I actually said this a few episodes back, but it's actually bothered me less, as we've witnessed that although they all have the same weapon they all get unique attacks anyway because of the Lockseed.

True. I just think there should be some variety outside of the attacks.

I dunno, I'm honestly feeling kinda meh about the whole thing, UNPOPULAR OPINION. I mean Gaim basically has no reason to use any of his other Lockseeds at all now, which makes you wonder what the point of Ichigo and Pine even was. Mango has never been as big a deal as when it was first introduced, Kiwi is pointless and Zangetsu may as well have started as Shin Zangetsu. It's rivalling OOO right now for the award of 'biggest clusterfuck of unnecessary form changes'.

Gotta make a profit somehow :lol

I know you're only joking, but that is the baffling thing. This show has SO MANY SUITS, loads of weapons, loads of finishers, more stuff than any other Rider show and half of the stuff introduced is only used in a single episode, or two. It feels like the creators for this show got given some HUGE budget and they decided to just go crazy and blow it all.

I actually think Kamen Rider Gaim handles its forms the best out of all of the other Kamen Rider series. The new forms aren't really power-spammed like in other seasons. They're used when they need to be, and the reasons for them not being used are logical. The transition from Sengoku Drivers to Genesis Drivers also showcases the development of technology quite well. There are going to be upgrades and replacements for the older models, and the show is giving them a decent amount of time for them to show up.

KRX has a point. Usually by now there's one form that gets spammed constantly outside of the main, so it is pretty nice that the different locks only get used when needed. Same goes for the progression of the belts. Heck I'm sure by the time the show ends they'll be another belt or two.

PLEASE INCLUDE some translucent Orange and Lemon effects parts for the inevitable SH Figuarts Gaim Jimba Lemon Arms! I'll make do without special stands to hold them, but we NEED those to replicate the final attack! DO IT

Yeah if OOO, Fourze, and Wizard get some cool effect parts, Gaim should too!

I dunno, I just think the transition from Sengoku to Genesis was too quick. I get that naturally there would be upgrades and so on, but not a full on replacement in like ten episodes.

I dunno about this theory, but holy shit, I never noticed the fucking mouths and stuff on the plants. That's creepy as hell.

I think that a "Dark Micchy" story arc is kinda too obvious for the type of show Urobochi is writing right now. I actually think that Kouta's the one who is going to end up evil at some point due to the way he's starting to buckle under the pressure. Plus, since the main thing about this show is being different then other Rider shows, he might be the first Main Rider in series that turns evil by the end.

Well considering every Invess Kouta has defeated was once a living creature, he's already very different to most Riders.

Very interesting stuff in that article Zeo. Definitely lines up with some things I've been mulling over. Really excited to see how that pans out.
