I hope the list is real with all my heart. Pretty much only for the Ishinomori Eyecon, because that is just the most perfect phrase for the creator of Kamen Rider. I might shed a tear everytime I use it.

Man I'm actually pretty tempted to go all in on the eyecons this time. Especially the legend rider ones if those are the kinda sounds that are activated.

We all saw that Ishinomori icon coming. Wow, I really liked all the people they chose for these icons, but wasn't there going to be 15 icons? I didn't count all of them, but it looks more than 15 to me.

I'd like to think there's going to be about 20-something Eyecons that get stolen and passed around among the Riders until one of them manages to collect 15 of them total.

Ishikawa Goemon - a Japanese ninja/outlaw who is the subject of several kabuki plays
Ikkyu - Japanese Buddhist Zen monk and poet

The fact that there are a couple of eyecons from female historical figures, could be a hint to a female rider...

I'm not so sure female Eyecons explicitly mean a female Rider. OR that Boost is a third Rider entirely. The reason I say that is because Specter has his own standby jingle opposed to Ghost's, and all of those mentioned Eyecons begin with Takeru's standby. I think Boost might be a super or final form.

I don't think so, honestly. Because based on Musashi and Edison's mannerisms, I still get the impression that Takeru is possessed by each soul, so I'd want his final to be a progression of Ore personally. The Ishinomori Eyecon would be a perfect way to introduce the "Kamen Rider" title though. Like, he's just simply called "Ghost" up until an arc where he comes across Ishinomori's soul. After learning about his work and using his Eyecon, Takeru decides to accept the title for himself. If not that though, I have a feeling it will just be a movie exclusive form.

Okay, I love the Nightingale and Kiva sounds

Nightingale has an ambulance-like sound and Kiva is Kiva.

Spectre's Eyecon does, but we can't really hear what jingle Nobunaga and Tutankhamen had. Even if they do have specialized jingles for each Rider, though, that wouldn't necessarily exclude any of these Eyecons from belonging to people other than Takeru. Like...in addition to more Riders, we're more than likely going to get another Driver. So maybe the female Rider has some other spooky Driver and uses those Eyecons with that. They would still have programmed sounds in the Ghost Driver, though, but since she wouldn't use it she wouldn't get her own jingle.

It's true that maybe since Takeru might be the first user of the Driver, his own soul's standby jingle is the same as the default one. What makes me think otherwise is that the closed lens of Specter's Eyecons are a different color than Takeru's. Maybe the Eyecons have some kind of link to the first Rider who uses them? We just don't know at this point. Perhaps you're right though and they will often swap Eyes with each other. I find it strange that whoever recorded these just so happened to skip the jingle entirely on both Nobu and Tut. Provided I'm right and those do have Specter's Jingle however, based on the skipped standby and the tone of the voice, I have a hunch Grimm will be one of Specter's forms too. But who knows?

I don't quite agree with this either for a couple reasons. First, that assumes a second Driver would use anything like Eyecons at all, about which I remain skeptical. Second, if that were the case you'd think there would be more Great Women Eyecons. I somehow doubt they'd miss the opportunity and pass up things like Joan of Arc, Amelia Earhart, or Cleopatra. That said, if any of those sounds are found in the future, I might be convinced.

This is very exciting, I can't wait to see the Ishinomori form, and the others sound great. Lol My friend was saddened to learn that Santa Claus is apparently dead lol.

Okay I'm still calling this as a multi rider series on this time they're keeping a lid on it. The fact that both the main rider and secondary rider use the same driver and whose suit aren't very different from each other leads me to believe they're going the multi-rider path but I'm thinking a rider roster along the lines of Kabuto rather then Gaim. And if they have a female rider I bet she'l be pink with heart shaped eyes and short 'cute' horns.

I'm thinking multi-rider, too. Spectre and Ghost are just too similar. Plus it would fit with the superficial similarities with Gaim, if they're trying to replicate it's success. (ironically the Ghost Driver apparently doesn't like Gaim)

I have no doubts that there will be several Riders either.

Which what I'm thinking too. Looking at the driver now makes me think separate upgrade device for power up.... I'm think combo eyecon/device that links with Ghost's personal weapon since it has a builtin combination gimmick already.

More than just the different iris colors, there's also the fact that the face patterns clearly have the appropriate number of horns. And then there's the oddly cleanly defined numbers between them which really raise a lot of questions.

It's just really weird, though. The idea that Takeru would then have 20 forms or something. Just doesn't make a lot of sense. They have to be broken up or divided between separate Riders, that's just the only logical thing. But the jingle is certainly an oddity.

On the other hand, Specter could just be a special butterfly and be unique in having his own jingle, while everyone else has Ghost's. It...would be weird. But then, they weren't exactly super consistent with the Sengoku Driver's sounds either...so who the hell really knows.


The last couple of Rider series have all had functionally interchangeable transformation devices between Drivers. The Lockseeds and Energy Lockseeds and Shift Cars and Signal Bikes work in fairly similar ways and are compatible with both Drivers. (I think? I don't know if the toy Gaim Drivers can do this but the Drive ones certainly can) Since in Ghost the transformation items are actually a crucial part of the storyline as opposed to just tools like they've been for a while, I wouldn't be too surprised if they mainly stuck with just Eyecons even if we got a new Driver. Especially since, as we just saw, there are quite a lot of them.

Anyway, I say that, but I'm honestly just throwing out ideas, not to be taken too seriously. I really have no idea.

I heard the Boost and Special Eyecons are going to be the Drive X Ghost Movie War Eyecons/forms.

Absolutely love that the Rider eyecons use the exact sounds of their respective series, like Gaim's henshin tune and Hibiki's tuning fork ping.

Once it comes out with clearer audio, I want a ringtone of Nightingale Damashii's ambulance siren tune.

Some of these actually shocked me! Florence Nightengale has an eyecon?! But the premise is that they're supposedly infamous male figures in history but two of them are female. Wonder what they'll look like in the series or films when they'll appear? Also, shout out to Ishinomori! He even got one!

More or less, yes. A more accurate translation may be "that's ridiculous," but translation is often more art than science. All of these are valid.

And yeah, the henshin sounds are great. I especially like that Gaim actually has equal parts Gaim and Baron (though i wouldn't have complained if Baron got one of his own! he is dead after all)

Japanese as a language isn't really big on gendered words. I think the great figures from history had never actually been described as male, we just called them "great men" for the sake of simplicity (and because the ones we had seen were men). But with Himiko and Nightingale it's fair to say that gender isn't really a factor.

Are these all the sounds? I was hoping there would be more riders than just specter using the same belt, unless one of those historical figures is straight up another rider.

I'd say that some of these are clearly just going to be promotional eyecons, probably not things in the actual show.

I also don't buy into the multi rider show idea. I think it's inevitable we'll see another rider show up, but after Wizard and Drive, three Riders seems to be becoming the norm. They're not going to put any kind of marketing push on a female rider though and I think there'd be more than two eyecons if that's what they were going for. Instead I think Nightingale will just be the typical medic powerup.
