Hopefully hlj can hurry up with their stock. Question; whats the best site? I use hlj a lot, mainly because amiami always runs out before I can preorder. The one purchase I did make with amiami, shipping doubled my price (sal registered). I'm sure if I went unregistered it would have been the same as hlj. What site do you guys prefer?

When I manage to get a preorder, always amiami. I've heard horror stories about HLJ's "first come first serve" preorder system, but that's never happened to me. I tend to stick to amiami for figuarts because I know when the orders will go up so I can wake up in time, but HLJ is perfect for getting things like ranger keys which I keep missing the preorder slots for.

If you're willing to sacrifice security for cost too, unregistered SAL is pretty cheap. Shipping for my Meteor was only 380 yen to the UK.

I don't know if anyone else got the email I did, but that will soon be a thing of the past.

Trunks is really cool. I like it a lot. I would buy from you had I the money, but I'm trying to avoid actually getting him until we get some kind of hint that we're getting a frieza, so I can make that scene where he's about to get cut in half.

I'd like to have all of them, but only if I had the money for it all. For now I do want Cell and that Gohan that will be at SDCC.

But that was cyber frieza. :D just kidding. Rumor has it they have 5 more dbz figuarts planned out. But its just a rumor. I'd love 17 and 18. I think it would be interesting to see a goten and trunks. They're a lot smaller than teen gohan so it would require a new mold. I wonder if it would if there would be a lack of articulation at all.

Too late, I bought Ryuki so I am committed to all 13 riders (even though only 10 of them appeared in the show, and there are really like 15 due to the Alternatives).

I ordered Knight today from that Mandrake place you guys recommended, so I'll see how their service goes.

I got Ryuki cause I want to get all main Kamen Riders, but somehow I end up having Ryuki with Ryuki blank form, Knight, Zolda, and Ouja......................

but can you imagine if Bandai made all the mirror monsters and they're all Tamashii exclusives...

don't even joke about that...I know that will happen with Venosnaker though...I am passing on Gai and after I get Tiger...well...if they release Alternative, and MAYBE scissors...but Imperer, Femme, Verde and Odin I can live without...

Now seeing Meteor, I am glad i ordered him...seems kind of like a combination of Black and Drake actually...was worried he would have a clone of Ryuki's legs when I saw the small pictures of him.

For Ryuki Riders I'd have to have Alternative (Zero prefferably), both Survives, Ryuga, and Odin. As for monster I'd have to get both Survives, Psychorogue, Venosnaker, Evil Diver (only for Genocider), Metalgelas (same thing), Dragblacker, and Goldphoenix. The other Riders and monsters just don't really interest me. Especially the ones I hated (like Gai) and the ones who barely did anything (Scissors).

Oh no, I definitely need Odin. I've already got some cool poses in mind if I have a figure stand for him by the time he does come out. After all, there are not many riders you can ppose into a cocky in the air stance with his arms held out laughing.

For me I just need: Raia(sadly couldn't fit him into July PO wise), Odin, The Survives, Alternative Zero, and Genocider for my collection to feel complete. I say this without seeing that TV special or the movie which I plan on grabbing this weekend. Chances are I'll be needed Ryuga after that :lol. Though I'll never get Gai or Taiga. Fuck those guys.

hey I just saw every picture of Ouja holding the sword vent he has it in his right hand...plus is how he has it on the box...

Yeah, but watch the show, Ouja uses is left hand all of the time, whether it is when he his holding his snake staff to insert a card or when he is fighting with his sword (especially when he is wailing on Tiger and Zolda).

No, look at the prices on Image Anime. They wanted $65 to preorder the AkibaRangers, whereas BBTS was $45.

BBTS doesn't overprice everything, but they do overcharge for a lot (Their preorders for Faiz and Emperor Kiva were in upwards of $50, if I recall correctly).

However, they have been getting better, selling non-exclusives for normal, uninflated prices.

It's not you. Back when Transformers Animated was out they charged $65 for Wreck-Gar. BBTS is an awesome store, but they are way too canny about how supply and demand works.

Problem is I trust BBTS. They're BBB approved, and are always good at resolving issues. I don't know who else to trust.

Sometimes you just have to take risks, I guess?
That and BBTS isn't afraid to tack on $25 for no reason other than more profit. :P

That is no different than any online retailer though. Outside of specific figures, can you tell me a single site that only sells items for their actual retail price? I wish I could say Amazon, but most of the time I only see sellers selling figures, not Amazon themselves.

There's a difference between gaining a profit and overpricing though.
BBTS is the only one who added ridiculous amounts, actually reaching the point where ordering from a Japanese seller was actually cheaper (After shipping).
But, going through their current Figuarts, it's not as bad anymore, with only exclusives exceeding $60 now.

Looks like BBTS is either ordering more to justify a lower price or they just weren't selling at the high cost. Either way, I'm glad. It seemed like they were just trying to piss me off when they were asking $65 for Emperor Kiva (A non-exclusive figure going for $28 from most Japanese sellers) last year :lol

BTW, how long does Mandrake usually take to ship something out? I Paypaled them my payment for Knight Friday morning and I have yet to get any shipping notification. I chose DHL because I was hoping to have it tomorrow.
