Dunno if I missed it in an earlier post, but also among all this new information was confirmation that trainer customisation will not be in these games.

Okay the new high quality art of the Legends coming out of the portals confirms that there is no silhouette of Hoopa. it was Reshiram's tail, like I said

Still need to know what Version Exclusives are before I preorder one.
I loved Glalie though so the fact that he gets a Mega Evolution & should be catchable in-game really makes me happy. Glad to see some old favorites back. |

Hmm, I know Swampert is good, and Mega Swampert is just gonna make him better, but I just don't like it as a whole...
However, I've already played Gen 3 with Blaziken and Sceptile, so it would only make sense to have a run as Swampert... Decisions decisions... |
WOW, so X and Y won't be getting patched to handle the new Mega Evolutions...
That is genuinely well and truly really fucking dumb. (Source: Serebii) |
I'm liking Mega Glalie.
I'm naming it Pacman. |

That requires extra work and money, after all. |

But seriously, in every Pokémon Ruby/Sapphire/Emerald playthrough I did I would already play as Brendon. This time I feel like I want to mix it up a bit and play as May this time. So many decisions. |
Quote:
I also want to keep the streak up of being the only man on the planet who doesn't pick the female character. I might get a world record once Gen 7 starts~ |
I'm going with May. :D

It's kinda like gamefreak is going all out on Omega and Ruby and just leaving X and Y in the dirt pretty much :lol The only thing that would make this game 100% perfect instead of 99.5% is the lack of trainer customization.
|
I always choose the guy. I don't like being the wrong gender in games where you get a choice, feels weird to me.

And yeah, no patch is pathetic. Typical Nintendo BS tbh. |

I think this is what peaked my interest for being May in Omega Ruby :lol :

Why can't we turn Brendon into a magical girl? *Huffs*

Going to stick with being a guy in ORAS. Only time I think I was a girl was in platinum and that more because I was playing it for my sister

Most sites are covering this now, but I thought I'd drop some info about the demo. Spoilered incase people want to go in blind.
- Exclusive mega stone is Glalie's in Europe, Australia and South Korea. In Japan its Steelix's. Kinda bummed as I'd have preferred to have Mega Steelix, but Mega Glalie seems pretty cool. - Features multiple playthough's with different ones getting you different items. 1st time you get the stone, 3 gets you Pokeballs, 5 gets you Heal Balls and then 7 and 10 get you Heart Scales. - Each one has a little clip of you and Steven flying on Latias/Latios. Which one alternates. - 1st play through has you battling a bunch of Aqua and Magma grunts before double battling with Steven against two of the grunts. Steven gives you a choice of Marshtomp, Combusken and Grovyle at lv35 at the beginning, and by the time you get to the double battle it'll have evolved. Steven gives you the mega brace/stone and then you can use it alongside his shiny Mega Metagross. Following that you can catch the exclusive stone Pokemon. - After that you go off on 'adventures' which range from finding lost Pokemon to just battling trainers. For these you have your stone Pokemon at lv40 and each starter (complete with each Megastone) at lv36. - Playthrough 5 and 10 are against a 'master' trainer. First time he has a Hariyama (and a Swellow I think, can't remember), second time you fight his brother and he has the three final evo starters + Hariyama - Between adventures you can run around Mossdeep city, but all the buildings are shut - You can't catch any Pokemon, but there are wild encounters. Altogether I've seen Slakoth, Absol, Tropius and Swellow so far. Some trainers have Meditite too, and there are Skitty, Poochyena and Shroomish running around in some of the adventures. - Pokemon gain experience and battles earn money, but it resets with each play through. - At the end of each play through there's a promo video for the whole game. I think that covers everything, but ask away if you have any other questions. |
Someone hacked the demo and found basically everything about ORAS in it.
