with that being said i think this works better for the narrative anyways. touma, kento, and luna's whole friendship is kind of weird going forward otherwise

as crazy as the dude is with luna and plenty of other things I don't think he's a pedophile. if he enjoyed netflixe's "cuties" then I would consider it as a possibilty. wouldn't a pedophile want luna to NOT grow up and instead stay as a little girl? a pedophile wouldn't be happy about this. as questionable as the dude is and how he phrases things there is no hard or damning evidence to suggest he is.

It's just weird to obsess over wanting. I would've been fine with this, if it weren't for the weird obsession thoroughly turning me away from it. Like narratively, it works and I understand it would've been weird if Touma's and Kento's friendship was still the same with Luna when she still was a kid, but I'm still not a fan of it.

Also true. For the most part I kiiiiinda accepted it as being just Touma and Kento only remembering her as a kid 'cuz that's all they hadn't seen her older. But then they kept her as a kid outside of their thoughts and stuff.

I swear, I just hope they don't put a weird awkward romance in now, but knowing KR, it'll happen. Won't ruin my overall enjoyment and love for Saber, but definitely one of the things I like least about it now.

this is far from the first series to do the whole "childhood friends get separated" gig and this is the first instance i've ever seen of it where 1 character just stayed the same age for whatever reason

Gonna have to agree I wouldn't have minded this if it didn't validate the worst parts of being in a fandom.
