I watched the first 3 episodes (forgot the next batch should be out around now). Its okay, but I'm waiting for Getter Robo and Gaiking to make cameos. Right now the Baron Ashura corps are much funnier characters.

I know if the magzinger serise but never actually watched but I'm enjoying this I just found on my USA crunchyroll app on my ps3

You think Future Diary is crazy oh you are wrong and I know since I've see Future Diary! This show gets super crazy in just 4 episodes!!! Compared to Future Diary, When They Cry is setting the crazy bar and Future Diary didn't even reach that bar until the near end. o_O

I've tried to make sense of both When the Seagulls Cry and When They Cry. I honestly cannot do it because there is so much lore to both I get lost just trying to figure out why character A is being a asshole to character B.

At least Future Diary makes sense to me. Some jerk is dying so he makes other jerks kill each other so he can make the winner the new God of Time/Space.

It's easier to understand that Red/Blue Truths.

So I'm 25 minutes into the first Madoka movie and I must ask... is there any point in watching the remaining one hundred? It's literally the same as the anime proper and that's not interesting at all.

Is the second any better or does it just hit what the first didn't?

The third's clearly the interesting one but going to have to wait for that of course.

The first two movies are literally a retelling of the series. Most of the animation is exactly the same, just touched up and given new or extended scenes.

If you watched the series recently, you don't really have to watch the movies. They're a good substitute to watching the series as a whole though.

The whole thing is on Hulu. I actually just watched it this week. Not what I was expecting but it all made sense in the end. Now I just have to find the movies somewhere online.




Yeah, that's the one that really elevated my opinion of the show and filled a lot of holes.

Commercial free?

You have something against extremely short commercials you can easily tune out? I mean, it is free unless you are paying for Plus to get it on your TV (worth it for a cord cutter like me). No one likes commercials but it's better than torrenting because at least the content company gets something for their product. The only thing I hate about the ads on Hulu is that they stick one before your video starts and then after the opening on an anime, which is just the first minute or so. After that you usually have only one or two breaks of 10-20 seconds. I mean, these shows did air with breaks in mind so meh. I'm always on my tablet anyway.

Also, there is a way to hack Hulu and avoid all commercials but it's really complicated and not worth it. There used to be a way to trick it into giving you the 90 second trailer option every time and then you watch the rest of your show without interruption.
