I got Zangetsu today. Unfortunately, he's a slight disappointment. He certainly looks great, and although I was uncertain about the off-white color at first I actually like it quite a bit now that I've had it in hand for a while. As nice as he looks, though, his QC is the worst of the three, at least in my case. His sword hilt falls off at the slightest movement, but the worst issue is his hands. Half of them are too tight, and the others are too loose. It's a particular problem with his gripping hands, and getting the shield into his hand while keeping it attached is far more difficult than it should be. It's far from the worst Figuart I have and I do really like him, I think the problems just seem especially frustrating to me because he's the one I was most looking forward to.

On a more positive note, though, I got the Sakura Hurricane as well and it's great. It's the first Figuarts bike I've owned so I don't have any others to compare it to, but I'm very happy with it.

Got my Kyoryugers in the mail, and thank god they do not suffer from King's wrist problems!

They look great, especially Kyoryu Black, though Pink is a little dissapointing as her skirts do hinder things a bit.

But the sculpting on them is fantastic.

My Tiger Ranger from NY has shipped and will be arriving on Wed. Funny enough, my Legacy Dragonzord will be arriving then as well.

Just a headsup, the cyclone 2 set and standalone cyclone are going up in about two hours on amiami.

Is it just me or do the FIguarts boxes with the windowless boxes feel a bit on the cheap side?

Not just you, I feel the same way. They do feel a bit cheaper, and I just prefer the look of the windowed ones. One windowless box I did like though was Renewal Kabuto, but that was a different type of box entirely.

I like boxes with windows, makes them much nicer to display.

Also darn I missed out on the cyclone 2, was engrossed in looking up figmas and then it was quarter past already, should have put an alarm on.

They do. It helps that the windowed boxes usually have an interesting graphic around the border nowadays. The web exclusive boxes just have a picture of the figure.

You have to keep at it. They activate in several small batches. The best thing to do is before they go live, add them to figinstock. This doesn't always work because of how fresh they are, the best way is to keep the listing open and refresh every several minutes.

Lucky for me, I'm not interested in bikes. None of the stuff I was ordering for me and a friend sold out right away.

I'm not so desperate to have Shin Ichigo that I'm broken up over it. I just figured that, since I was planning on getting Akaranger when he gets localized by Bluefin, I may as well get Shin Ichigo to go with him, and it'd be cheaper than the aftermarket price the standard release currently commands.

I can't recall if they did a localization of the regular Shin Ichigo, but I'm hoping they'll do one of the New Cyclone set.

They did. I have one. Granted, I didn't pay for it, but I have one. Lol.

In other news, apparently Bluefin got the rights to the Dragon Range statue (not exactly surprising news), Amazon has it up for preorder.

Yeah, I think they annonced it on facebook last week. Or a few days ago. It'll likely have MMPR packaging as well.

As my first Figuarts vehicle, I am definitely impressed. Although it lacks in accessories, it doesn't stop it from looking fantastic. Can't wait for Rose Attacker now.

If only they made bikes for the Sentai Figuarts, that would make everything perfect...

Yokatta are one of the most popular middlemen, they're trustworthy, just sometimes slow with replies. I wouldn't worry about it unless it's been a very long time, in which case, just email them to make sure they got the payment.
