Given that she was supposed to show up in Zenki, I guess that means Zenki will have plot progression for Saber, which I certainly did not see coming. But will probably only be minor.

The new mooks are basically the Praetorian Guards from Star Wars. You can see in the preview that they all use different weapons from one another.

The preview also shows Yuri holding Saikou. How exactly does that work? I don't recall him being able to do that before.

I think it's great when it's done well. I personally don't think it was done well(doesn't mean I dislike them) with Solomon or the 4 upcoming mooks - mostly because the decals/details look really dumb on uneven surfaces. It reminds me of when you mess up a sticker on a SO-DO figure. The Sword of Logos symbol on Solomon is especially jarring to me, as well as the torso details on the new guys. It just looks unnatural and IMO it's what immediately gives away that it's a kitbash.

The Future Riders in Zi-O were pretty blatant, low-tier kitbashes, but it makes sense given that they have the smallest roles you could possibly have in an anniversary series - literally imaginary Riders that they won't even bother to show in crossovers lol no flak against people that liked those suits but clearly they didn't have as much effort put into them as other stuff we've seen.

Zerozero-One, Ikazuchi and Naki are PEAK kitbash designs, IMO. It's kind of blatant since they kinda fill that "extra EXTRA" category of Riders but they did back themselves into a corner when they thought of a 4-man terrorist group. Saber's designs are so intricate that I honestly can't see what you could do with them, especially knowing that Revice's motif is dinosaurs. Obviously that could be my lack of creativity, but for stuff like Build and Zero-One I legit couldn't stop thinking about what they could do with the suits.

Dragonic Knight will shine in the new movie. It's a repaint rather than a kitbash, but I have to say - I'm not even a fan of Sentai and I am excited to see the movie JUST for this suit.

Yeah. Saikou only elongates when he transforms, so him holding it here perfectly fine probably implies he fully transformed himself back into a human.

And coinciding with the fact that he says he's going meet Tassel soon, yeah he 'gon be a goner.

Senki Saber actually uses Toucon Boost for the entire torso, plus Zenkaiser's parts for the chest and shoulders. The only Dragonic part is the helmet.

Right - I forgot that from the neck down it's basically just Toucon Boost. Dunno how I forgot when it was pointed out here less than a month ago.

If they ever need to cook up a new robot-type enemy in the next show, Lion Daisenki would make for a good base. Also, Saikou's shadow probably isn't ever going to be seen again, so turn that into a ninja (Shinobi power-up when he returns in 2022!?)

After all the kitbashing over the last few years in Rider, now I find myself imagining the amusing potential use of every suit I see... (I still wished they hadn't dissected Ichigata though!)

Oddly enough, I actually really enjoy kitbashed/repainted suits. I assume it's because I'm no stranger to the process either since I build gunpla, but to me there's something so oddly fascinating about taking a armor or weapon I've seen countless times before and with just the swap of a few pieces or colors, suddenly the thing feels completely different.

In a US/Canadian adaptation of Saber, I have the perfect actor who can play Desast/Falchion!
