Sorry for the weird question, but is there a way to ask Bandai stuff about the FiguArts?

I mean, I'm very hyped for the release of the Kiwami-FiguArt and the wrong color on the gloves and the lower arms really bug me now.

I hope its just a messed up paint-job on the prototype and that it will be fixed before release, but I kind off want to ask them directly about that. Or know if others already asked and where to find an answer.

If not, did you already have experience with that? Wrong paint applications on prototypes that turned out fine for release?

Again, sorry for asking, but I'm fairly new to buying SH-figures, started with MonsterArts last year and got into Kamen Rider Gaim this year and started buying those as well.

Yeah, same here. The Mars suit has become one of my favorite designs, a Figuart would be great. Hopefully we'll see one eventually!

This so much, I love Mars' design! But I don’t think they’ll do a FiguArt of him, he’s a movie-only character. But if the demand is high enough… also, like with the other Gaim FiguArt’s, they can at least use some existing body-parts for him. I would buy him instantly if they decide to do him.

Another dumb question guys, where can I get the info on when certain pieces go up for pre-order? I have seen some pictures in the past where you cold see the figures and on which date you could start pre-ordering them, but I have no idea where that was.

We've gotten many movie exclusive riders in the past. Eternal from W, New Den O from Den O, Hijack form from Den O, Nadeshiko from Fourze, and a whole bunch. Considering that Gaim is very popular we'll get Mars some time the down line.

We've gotten movie-exclusive riders before, such as Nadeshiko and Yuuki. Gaim pretty much prints money at this point, so I'm sure we'll get Figuarts of Fifteen, Mars, and Kamuro at some point.

I think figures normally go up for preorder about a week after official announcements/images drop.

Hopefully they'll keep a steady supply of Kiwami coming out. With the exception of Ryugen, all the Gaim figuarts have sold out in seconds and HLJ tends to be a bit hit-or-miss with fulfilling orders.

I actually buy all my FiguArts (and other stuff) at HLJ, and they never disappointed me. Even Orange & Banana-Arms that I snagged roughly two weeks before release came in without any problem and with the bonus parts.

They tend to go to the "Order Stop"-statues really quickly, true, but you get enough chances before release to pre-order the item.

Most FiguArts I have on preorder where "Order Stop" when I found them, but every time I had the opportunity to get one because the status switched back to pre-order. You have to be consisted on HLJ, you always have the chance to still get the item if its not released. Afterwards? Yeah, sold out. Had the problem with the Kiwami-Lockseed, I was too dumb to pre-order it in time and now it’s gone forever. I had to pay a lot more for it on eBay -.-

You're lucky then. I preordered Baron and Gaim as soon as they went up on HLJ but they didn't fulfill my Baron. Right now they're 2:1 of orders fulfilled vs. orders not, despite getting in just as the window opened. I mostly use them for backup now and drop it if I can score one elsewhere, like I did for SHF Kachidoki on Amiami.

I ordered on AmiAmi too when I was new to collecting, but they really take the cake when it comes to "Sold Out". Every second item on this site is sold out, and every item that goes up for pre-order and has some name to it is gone in a few hours.

It’s because of that I switched entirely to HLJ. True, AmiAmi has better prices, but in the end that doesn’t matter too much because I buy in euros anyway, and I really like HLJ’s private warehouse.

I’m sorry that they didn’t send you your Banana Arms, I heard other stories of them canceling orders, but I have no idea why, I buy there for over a year now and nothing like that ever happened to me.

the Euro to JPY conversion is better then the USD. But moving from Korea to Germany really made me take a step back and consider my spending. I could find all types of stuff from Japan pretty cheap over there, but here everything has to be imported in (unless there is a hobby shop somewhere that I don't know of) and that gets expensive.

Yeah, I have to import everything myself, but I don’t buy stuff that’s too expensive, FiguArts and MonsterArts are the most expensive things I import.

Yeah, I couldn't care less if they released him, as outside of Femme and Ryuga, I'm not into the movie only characters.

I'm more interested in Kamuro. Mars is neat but I'd much rather have Fifteen.

SH Figuarts Baron is perfection. The paint is immaculate, the armor doesn't get in the way of posing, and his joints are tight without creating that fear you'll break something. Even the hands, which I'm always worried about on any Figuart, pop on and off without trouble.
SH Figuarts Gaim.. The paint is just as good as Baron, the joints are just as solid. In fact he's nearly perfect. Except the clip that keeps his gun/blade on his hip. It pops off if you look at it funny, it gets in the way of posing, and pops off if you try putting the sword on for storage.

He's still a great Figuart, that clip is just annoying.

Without having a source, I would say yes, seeing as how Kachidoki is a retail release and there is no other retail release after Kachidoki announced yet, they announced only Kiwami and Duke. So I would guess, Kiwami for retail, Duke a web exclusive.

I think it's a little production error, the clip on my Zangetsu is much better.

It varies. My Gaim's is fine, but Zangetsu's is utter trash.

Hopefully we get some Sentai news out of SDCC.

Doesn't look like Bandai are showing anything at this WonFes. It's largely an anime event, the Winter one back in February was the first they've done and it was primarily for Sailor Moon and Precure.

SDCC might have some new Sentai stuff, but I wouldn't be surprised if it's just MMPR and maybe the Kyoryugers on show. There's at least a chance they'll have the other Kyoryugers on display, which would be pretty amazing.

If there was to be any I'd be willing to bet it's going to be ToQger or a few more Kyoryugers. I doubt we'd get any retro ones until a new season of Akiba starts up. Then again hell did freeze over with the announcement of the B-Fighters and Akaranger so maybe we will get some non Akiba retros. Personally I'd love to see some of the 80 teams get releases such as Changeman, Maskman, and Liveman. And considering the 90s is my favorite era I'd love to get some Fiveman, Carranger, and GoGoV SHFs.

Of course there was that poll, so maybe some news about what team is getting released from that?
