42 is a cool armor.

I thought 42 took some getting used to at first, but after Iron Man 3 it may just be my favourite.

Going on a mild tangent and somewhat continuing the Digimon discussion last night, I think a 02 character I would actually enjoy seeing would be Mummymon.

It's not that I dislike the 42 or any other Iron Man figuarts for that matter. I just don't want to collect SHF IM figures. They look awesome but it's such an incomplete line right now that only owning 1 or 2 would irk me to no end. I want ll the armors, and it simply doesn't appear that they're going to do them all.

That seems to be an odd prerogative.

Won't Ridley work better for the S.H MonsterArts line because of his size and design?

OOO came out in 2011, so I doubt we will see a renew of him anytime soon. The Rider figuarts that came out after 2010 don't need much a renewal since they already look faithful to the suits from the show. OOO's base form was a good figuart other then trying to put his claws on his hands. I'm surprise how many people here dislike the OOO figuarts because the reviews for him always been good and he's one my favorites in my collection. His detail and molding is better then W's Cyclone Jokers.

That's understandable if you're a completionist-type collector. I'd be ready to go broke if they announced that every armor was being released.

Why is that odd? I don't like owning incomplete displays. They've made 4 IM figuarts so far. They make the MK I and MK II then we can talk. But until then I'm not gonna get so heavily invested in them. The 4 that are out are a bit more than your average SHF so it'd be quite the leap to make just to wind up not getting some of the key armors I want. When the line grows more I may get back into it.

Don't forget the Mk III and V!

I love the 42, though I didn't care for it much until I saw IM3.

I missed AmiAMi and HS, but have Iron Man over at CDJapan. But their shipping on two figures is steep, and for three it was downright rapey. So I'm left hoping AmiAmi/HS opens up Iron Patriot and Kachidoki Arms again at some point.

If they make a Mark V I'd be so happy. So far, that is my favourite suit of all. Mark VII is pretty close as well but I guess Figma has got me covered for that.

Bluefin is localizing Michael Jackson and God Gundam.

Hell yes. Now I need to track down a Domon.

Yeah, MK V was a surprise fave for me. I wish we had Figuarts versions of the TAS ones. Subterranean Armor would be an automatic first preorder.

With Battle of Gods coming out in the US soon, I do hope for SHF of Beerus and SSjG Goku soon. Rumor has it that Kid Buu might be made soon. I guess he can come with his death ball attack and arm that can stretch.

I wouldn't count on Beerus/Bills any time soon at all. A one off character like that stands no chance of being made before other regular staples of the series that haven't been done yet.

Yeah, if any DBZ villain gets released next there's no doubt in my mind that it's gonna be Buu.

And if we do get a one off villain, chances are it's going to be Brolly or Cooler first.

Battle of Gods is a new movie, so I can see them cashing in on it. I'm not sure how Broli will work given how huge his body. Coola (Cooler) and Janemba would make good SHF figures. I do think SSj Gogeta is possible too. I doubt the other movie villains get figures since they don't seem to be very popular.

Aw, Lucario can't even hold his Aura Sphere... It needs a stand to keep it in place. And the dreads on mine seem a little loose. Otherwise he's a pretty solid figure and I quite like him. I really like how they did his thigh swivel since the hips wouldn't really allow them to move otherwise.

Edit: Scratch that looseness, just realized I put them on the wrong sides after swapping eyes. Swapping back fixed that problems.

No, I don't think we should expect a Beerus at all. Despite being a new movie, DBZ figures still are only made because of the western market and that movie isn't even out here yet. Who knows how it could go over. Plus it's probably nostalgia really driving the sales, so a new (and IMO boring) villain of course wouldn't fit that. Brolly does consistently get the top of polls, but his big size is going to prevent him from being made soon, especially since that's why Nappa was cancelled (despite having a prototype and everything). Cooler, though... Yeah, that's a movie villain I could see happening.

I always love Janemba's design, so I would buy a figure of him. With Buu, I think they need to do Fat Buu, Super Buu, Buuhan and Kid Buu. Broli would sell well with both the US and Japanese fanbase.

Broly would be neat. I wonder if he would be popular enough, though. I know he's a popular movie villain, but that isn't saying much considering that's putting him against the likes of Slug and Android 13...

Broly consistently comes at the top of Bluefin's polls for all DBZ characters, so he's popular enough. They've just also said he pretty much won't be happening because of size, though. (Since nobody's going to want his regular-sized form over the Legendary Super Saiyan.)

Janemba is indeed pretty cool. But like Slug and Android 13 (:p), I doubt he's popular enough.

Bardock, though... Hmm. Hadn't considered him. Totally a possibility.

Bardock would be pretty damn cool to get. Cooler would be another fun one to get.

I've been pretty actively avoiding the Digimon figures but just today I got hold of Omnimon and man, is he awesome.

I'm surprised by how well Omegamon's design translates into an action figure, it's not difficult to get him into a pose where he looks like a badass.

He is quite glorious. I don't have him, but I'm sure he's tops. I've got Gallantmon (Dukemon) and he's great...save for his shoulder guard peg is broken. Just hanging on by a thread. Guess I'll glue him up sometime. But otherwise great line of figures!
