And I was watching the latest V-Build and I heard a very good question. Out of all the Rider Figuarts, where should one start for a very good design/quality?

Fourze. Ryuki.. I never liked that design very much.

im just saying the most well rounded, all the others have their flaws, and also i meant the entire ryuki line

for a good Figuarts, really can't go wrong with anything from Kabuto...some of the best figures I would think. Ryuki, well Tiger is a great one of course, but the early ones have those ports that keep falling off. Den-O is another GREAT GREAT one of course, and Another Agito is just a solid figure.

IXA. The only problem I can think of: you might find his amount of hands low.

I think out of all the Figuarts I own, the Ryuki figures are dead solid display pieces, but the Fourze figures are dead solid as toys. There are loose ports and whatnot on the Ryuki figures, and posing Dragredder is quite the challenge, but they have marvelous sculpts and they do great to mask the joints. The Fourze line on the other hand, has lots of great posing options with all of the modules, and the joints are all tight and great for holding a variety of ridiculous poses, although the figures definitely feel more like plastic than the metal that Ryuki and the lot feels like.

These pics are killer! Very nice poses, especially cosmic states, can really feel him floating.

Really? Does that include Magnet States, cuz there's something about that one that seems off to me. I don't like it, and it's kinda put me off getting any other Fourze SHFs.

The ones that I've found to be the most fun to play with are Skull, any of the Accels, Kuugas and Kabutos. The Agitos also aren't bad. Ixa looks fantastic, but is a little bit more limited in movement, but that's the suit design's fault.

I agree that Kuugas are some of the most fun Figuarts out there, but the Ryuki releases typically are better. But Fourze? God those are just awful. I haven't handled a single one that felt as nice as my other Figuarts. Every one I've owned is cheap feeling and has QC problems all over the place. Switches that don't stay in the belt, limbs that are made to pop off but won't, knee pads that shoot across the room, loose shoulder joints. I actually like the OOO Figuarts better than the Fourze ones at this point!

I've only got Meteor Storm and Cosmic States... And I've BARELY messed around with either...

But yeah they've got stupidly loose joints. And Fourze's switches are incapable of staying in the driver.

My Meteor storm is pretty solid. Cosmic States on the other hand is pretty loose. His hips are really loose and hes tough to stand up.

I am convinced that Meteor Storms Driver is trying to escape. Can't make that thing stay on for anything...

My Base States has been fine whenever I mess with it. Solid joints, the switches don't fall out, easy to swap out the module parts. Never really felt cheap to me, either.

I guess what we've proven today is that Den-O will never fail to make me look criminally insane when it comes to toy preferences.

Yeah I've got Base States and Meteor and have had zero problems. Really fun figures.

The only thing I dislike about Fourze is his ankles, which look a bit weird.

Well, I don't know if you can call me a "real photographer", but I can provide some general tips for lightboxes:
-You want a flush background. A single piece of posterboard or cardstock which is curved to fit the backdrop, while not being too tight, works best.
-Make sure you have light coming from every direction. That works to eliminate harsh shadows or a "halo" effect.
-Try to keep everything within a set frame. If you have portions of the lightbox's edges showing, then it looks rather unprofessional.
-Above all, you just want as much light of the same temperature as possible. And make sure to take the proper precautions if you're using something like tissue paper for soft light. Your first lightbox fire is not an experience to forget.

This was my first home made light box...you want to try to keep a smooth back ground...then frame your shots and angle your lights proper...finally getting your camera settings right. Lord knows that cream background was my nemesis lol
