Yes he would've. Tortillas are used in many Mexican dishes that are very healthy, so it's likely he'd have those. Jalepenos are excellent for the heart, so again. The Sour Cream is used in many sauces and such in French Cuisine, so given Alfred's backround he'd have those. And the cheese is very common in every household.

So it's likely he'd have everything he needs.

The first thing you should know is that I'm putting this here because Voltron didn't exist in Japan the same way it existed here. What we know as Voltron: Defender of the Universe is actually a combination of two anime. Beast King GoLion (Voltron) and Dairugger XV (Vehicle Voltron). And it's not a direct translation of either. The producers at the time created all new plots, all new dialouge, making Voltron a very American production using Japanese footage. Like an animated Season One MMPR.

Okay. We start episode one with our intrepid space explorers.. and I think Hunk might be a moron. "Looks like the planet's being hit my meteors!" "It could be volcanic!" .. Yes, because we all know Volacos launch rocks out of the atmosphere and into empty space.
The thing is though that you never actually see them. I think what they did is take the original footage that didn't have dialouge, and dub the V-Team over, so us stupid american kids would know wtf is happening.

And that is the single worst swedish accent I have ever heard xD It sounds like Mike Myers "We will *Claps hands* PUMP YOU UP!"

Honestly, I do love the designs in this show. The ships, the weapons, the computers, it all had a very clean look. Even the gothic look of Zarkon's fleet fit in so beautifully. They do kind of look like someone slapped a skull on a Zentradi cruiser though. Not that that's a bad thing for a Robotech fanboy like me.

Speaking of voices.. Pidge. It sounds like someone shoved sausages up his nose. This show has the most random assortment of VO since I last watched 4Kids dub of One Piece. For serious.

And now the prison break. Without explination Pidge leaps, what seems to be a good thirty feet, and then they all land with a makeshift sheet parachute.. And it all somehow works. Like them escaping and stealing a ship, and ending up back on Arus.

Voltron is one of those things I'd quite like to watch regardless of how well its aged or not. I got the first lion tin boxset for really cheap (like £5) and quite enjoyed it, but then I found out the rest of the series wasn't coming to the UK and I lost all interest.

Now that sucks. They relased them all here, including Vehicle Voltron... for some reason.

United Kingdom! The land of contradictions. We hate piracy, the UK cries, but will we make anything regularly available? They mock. No! They laugh. Then pay millions for advisers to try and understand why torrenting is so rife.

We'll release a single show in DVD volumes, volumes which include less episodes than the regular VHS releases from when you were a kid and we'll release them for nearly the same price as a complete boxset in the US! Decided to watch the start of UP as I had 10 mins to kill before I could watch anything else on the TV (joys of a sister and Sky+) and the music is one of the songs on the loop that plays on Main Street USA in magic kingdom (Cus I'm not missing it at all...)

Long story short, the start of UP is just a masterpiece in film and storytelling and I'd forgotten how damn tragic yet beautiful it is. It's also 40 mins later and I'm still watching it...

EDIT: also after living and seeing a bit of America, as beautiful and awesome as Chicago was and as good as Florida is, I'd much rather live in England. Sorry guys, your country has its benefits but here is definitely home for me.

Since there hasn't been a whole lot on in the afternoons, I've been watching re-runs of Total Drama Island. I forgot how good the first season was. It's childish, and every character is pretty much as cliched as you can get, but it works really well as a parody of all the surviving game shows.

I liked the first season of TDI. It was fun and, despite being animated, the relationship drama didn't annoy me.

I enjoyed World tour best.

I didn't like the Total Drama ________ series to begin with.

Anyway, the Ten-Eyed Man is showing up in Beware the Batman.
