Well then why even have Tamagachi represented when Digimon is apart of that.

Although the idea of the black sprite tamagatchi from the original toys fighting ala Mr. Game and Watch would be hilarious to me.

Well there is Nightmare from Soulcalibur since he's the mascot of the Soul series and SC2 on the Gamecube was the best selling version out of the three (thanks to Link being a guest fighter). However I doubt he would make it into Smash.

I feel like a Digimon fighter in Playstation All Stars would have been cool given how the Digimon games on the PS1 where popular. In the late 90's and the early part of the 2000's, Nintendo had Pokemon while Sony had Digimon on their side. However PAS end up doing poorly and they cut all support for the game two years ago.

Because Mametchi is probably more iconic and as I said, has already appeared in a Bandai/Namco collaboration. Bandai Namco would be more likely to push him over a Digimon unless it gets some sort of major surge in popularity.

I wish there was a Playstation All-Stars sequel for the PS4. That game had so many wonky mechanics and so much promise a sequel could really touch up on. Maybe since Sony is rolling in that PS4 money now they could reform the studio that made that game and make a sequel even if the original didn't do well?

I want to see an actual Tamagotchi keychain as a fighter, not the mascot.

Yeah. Sonic, Mario's biggest competitor is now a part of the franchise, so having Pokemon's "Rival" (Quotes used because they aren't really competing anymore) wouldn't be outlandish.

I think Digimon is still a direct competitor to Pokemon in Japan since games and toys are still being made over there. I doubt Nintendo would have ever been okay with that. Not to mention both franchises are made to sell toys. Isn't Takara Tomy & Hasbro the main company that makes Pokemon figures? I doubt Bandai wants to do a crossover with a toy company that they are rivals with. It would be like if they made a Gundam vs. Transformers crossover. So I doubt a real Pokemon vs. Digimon will ever happen.

On the one hand, they put Ryu in, and I have a hard time recalling any Street Fighter game on a Nintendo game system, so that was out of left field itself.

On the other hand, Pokemon is already on Smash, and Digimon has a rather loving relationship with Sony/Playstation, give or take a couple of betrayals with the DS games (good games, but not very loyal of Digimon to cheat on Sony like that).

there have been Street Fighter games on Nintendo systems, Street Fighter 2 being the big one. There was also Super Street Fighter 4 3D on the 3DS recently.

We're 4 episodes in, and recently decided to watch it subbed over dubbed because he was finding the dub's mild changes to be a little grating.

I wonder if Saban will release Tri for a limited release in theaters similar how Funimation did with the DBZ movies. I think it could do well since there is the nostalgia from kids growing up in the 90's and early 2000's who are now adults.

I went to watch Digimon on Netflix...and it was only subbed. Now, the sub voices certainly were a lot better, but I can't watch Digimon subbed. It's too weird. I want to watch the version I grew up with.

Digimon on Netflix are in two different things there digimon adventure that is subb then there just digimon you need to find the just digimon for the dub. For me I like subb and uncut anime

Its Kari. You can see the hair clip on the left side of her pace. Just like she did in 02. The animation is something relative to the one from the first movie and combined with the usual style you seen in most Aniplex shows.

There's no distinct "Aniplex" style. They aren't a studio, they're a distributor.

Oh. Sorry. I've only seen 2 shows from Aniplex and both of them had similar styles. So I figured they were both.

Savers had BanchoLeomon.

And Xros Wars had MadLeomon.

Not Leomon explicitly, but they were still a type of Leomon in a way.

When I was a kid, I thought Leomon in Tamers was the first Leomon from Adventure and that he was reborn. Some people still try to tie Tamers with the first two seasons.

Adventure had the Primary village, though. So even in death they can still return.
But it doesn't mean that he didn't die.

Also, Savers had SaberLeomon die, which is Leomon's Mega/Ultimate form.

Also Frontier had a White Leomon i think, although i don't remember if he died or not.

Well DBZ: BOG did pretty well in theaters and made a lot of people remember DBZ after the series popularly died out like a decade ago. If they give Tri a limited release and market it right, it could do pretty well.

I hope we will get some English release info for Tri soon since Saban still has one more seasons of Fusion to be done.
