I just finished Fourze. But for those that haven't yet, I'll Spoiler this.
I loved how it finished. Though Kengo's a jerk for almost making me cry when Yuuki was reading his letter, only to have him show up again at the end. Jerk. I did not see so much in the last episodes coming. I thought for sure Tachibana would've ended up being Kengo's Dad. I did not see Tachi being Virgo. About time Ryuusei and Tomoko get together.. seriously. I loved the whole thing. But now on to my next watching... OOO! Only right after watching a show about buds, I watch one about the Rider one of mine took his name after. |

And I hope you love OOO. Of the few things I like, it reigns up top with Gekiranger :p |
OOO was nice but the first half was utterly forgettable, I didn't remember any of it the week after I finished it.

I actually felt OOO's beginning was fairly fun, with the middle being the parts that meandered. |
It wasn't bad like Blade's, it's just doesn't stay in my head :lol
|
Finished ep 34, our hero is back with burning spirit after 1 episode of emo-ness :lol
|
Wizard got me in to watching KR again after a long time so I've decided to check out the other seasons starting with Kuuga.
After being used to Super Sentai the fact that Kuuga averages about 5 or more deaths per episode is certainly a different feel for my Toku fix. I'm on episode 23 now and I'm loving the cast from Godai to Ichijo to Sawatari and the rest of the supporting cast. |

We totally need a finger snap smiley. So many Toku heroes snap their fingers that it's somewhat odd that we don't have one on site.

I just watched OOO Ep - 1: Loved it. Eiji is generually charming, Anhk is just farking awesome. And I laughed out loud when that Grasshopper Greed tried attacking when he switched coins, and Eiji just no-look kicked him.

And maybe Bouken will be more appealing if I try again now, rather than when I did immediately after Geki :p Sun Vulcan is freaking boring though. Quote:

After a long time of not watching it I'm continuing Kuuga, just finished episode 41. I'm really liking the mystery and can't wait to learn everything about the Grongi and Kuuga. I may power through the rest of the show in the next 2-4 days.

Finished Agito ep 36, and Another Agito is cool (and psycho) but why does he gets a lame name ...
|

"Another Agito" It's so simple it's awesome :lol |
I would prefer him to be Agito No.3 and Gills to be Agito No.2 :lol

So I just finished episode 16 of Hibiki. Definitely my favorite episode so far. I felt that it finally gave some clarity in Asumu and Hibiki's relationship in terms of student and mentor. Also, Todoroki's debut was awesome, especially with the background music. (Does anyone know the name of that track, by the way?)

As anyone watched Kamen Rider Hibiki? I like the design, but was wondering if the show is any good.

And... I might regret asking this. But what is Inoue'd? |
It means the series is gonna get fked up bad.

But then again, I'm hard pressed to find a series (Other than Decade) that I wouldn't call good... |

I really have no want to watch Kuuga right now, and because I've heard about how Agito is something of a continuation, I feel the need to watch Kuuga first... |
It's not really a continuation, they just have some connections.

Did someone mention Hibiki?
Unleash the rampant praise and Inoue-bashing! :D Quote:

As for the Inoue thing... Hibiki is a fantastic show, absolutely fantastic. But the toy sales were crap and all the location filming burned through its budget really quickly. Toei wanted the producers and writers to do some overhauls to make it cheaper and more marketable. They refused, so Toei fired them and brought in Toshiki Inoue, the head writer for Agito and 555. The result was... well, objectively speaking the result was a really generic last 19 episodes with reduced characterization, blander monster designs, and a lot more stock city locations. Subjectively, it was the worst tragedy in the history of tokusatsu. A horrible new character was brought in to add drama, the show's fantastic score was replaced, the new villains made no sense and were ridiculously goofy, two episodes were devoted solely to proving that women are too crazy to be Kamen Riders, and the ending was so slapdash it was literally being written while they were filming it. Technically, the show's ratings improved, but from a PR standpoint it was a disaster. The cast was incredibly and vocally unhappy with what was happening, as were the show's fans. Toei got a lot of egg on their faces over what happened, but not enough to bother undoing any of the changes. By then Hibiki was basically just something to finish burning off until Kabuto was ready to launch. It was a disastrous ending, but you shouldn't let that discourage you from watching the real 29 episodes, which are a fantastic blend of strong characters and character-driven stories, beautiful outdoor locations, unique cinematography, dodgy CGI, and the lovely Mayu Gamou. And if you like it, it's always worth checking out Daimajin Kanon, a show from 2010 that reunited much of Hibiki's production staff. It's a completely different show, but there's a lot of Hibiki still left in its overall tone (I've also seen it argued that Daimajin Kanon is an allegory for the production troubles of Hibiki, which actually makes sense when you break it down). (sorry, Sentai, but Switchblade is to Hibiki as you are to Goseiger) (except my show's good :p) |
I'm currently keeping up with Wizard. Also, I started OOO a long time ago but haven't really gotten to finishing it. They're both great, though.

Finished Agito episode 46, Overlord of Darkness got Falcon Punched :lol . And Kino died ? Just from a tackle of an Unknown ?

Kamen Rider: The Bland...I mean The First. First time's first, the action is pretty good. Some of the better bike stunts I've seen. The rest...well, you have Bland 1 and Bland 2 fighting over a girl that only reminds me of Evangelion (Something I really don't want!). The rest of the movie is wasted on a boring and bland hopital love story that adds nothing to the movie except 30 minutes of bordom. All the time wasted on these characters that are only level bosses anyways could have been spent making Bland 1 and Bland 2 not so...bland.
Ugh, this movie sucked. Again, the action scenes are good and very watchable. Do yourself a favor and skip the rest of this boring movie. Quote:
Anyways, Everyone mentions the Rider Kick from the finale as awesome, but honestly I found that punch so much more awesome satisfying. None of these guys had powers at the time and still decked GOD. Most badass, most awesome moment of the show, if not the franchise. As for Kino,Yeah, that's one of the oddities of the show. It's anticlimactic for him and I don't think it was really ever explained. I just assume he was living on borrowed time from that arm thing and it caught up with him. |

And I still find the fact that there is a kid Overlord of Light in every Agito disturbing |
Finished Agito, it was great and shouldn't there be tons of Agitos by now :lol

Watching Fourze from start to finish. I'm on Episode 3 and so far none of the main characters are acting too friendly right now. It's a bit of a shock seeing as they're so chummy in the double digit episodes.
|
Hibiki... I did not like. So I decided on watching OOO and Ryuki. Now Ryuki... makes no sense. But I like it. Mostly how different it is from Dragon Knight, and how epic Knight is.
|
Watch. Ooo.

Speaking of which, I finished episode 29 of Hibiki, and I could tell from the next episode preview just how overnight melodramatic it was going to get. No interest in continuing there. I think I'm going to either watch Agito or Blade next. |
