Then let's just name them lord Creta, Lady Jura, Lord Tria and Lord Perry

Will the extinct look like dinosaurs? Or what are we doing for the designs?

I would see the Extinct as fossilized dinosaur humanoids. I hope they can morph into human form to blend in.

Maybe have them copy the DNA of Humans after they touched them. Thus getting the ability to take on their appearance.

But arent they made of rocks and stoney bones and stuff, won't it be better if they just merge with surrounding concrete,rock,soil etc. to stalk their victims while hiding right under their shadows breaking them with words, inducing paranoia while preparing to strike like a hungry predator....

Or to put it simply..like the Mirror monsters in Ryuki.

Thats actually a pretty brilliant idea. And would pose a big threat to the Rider if they use that ability during battle.

I'd like it if we could mix.
Some can camoflage and some can transform into humans.
Not all of them necessarily need to be hunters.

I also think the hunting would be better suited for grunts/monster of the week. Not the generals and lords.

If they are made from Objects that got mixed with Fossils they could be like the Dopants and have various powers that are connected to the objects they were made from.

How about making the grunts based on ammonites & trilobites?

I was thinking of a mutant fossil dinosaur theme to it.

They can be based off of any dinosaur really, but it's going to be a fossil monster.

Grunts can be based off of anything you'd like, it would just be a visual effect as their abilities would all be the same.

The problem would be from your monster-of-the-week and executives. If you choose to base it off some really esoteric theme like prehistoric insects of which there isn't as much info to find and the audience couldn't differentiate between, then it would be more difficult designing unique complementary powers for each of them.

considering we're probably not gonna make a series out of this, we can probably cut the monsters of the week and focus on generals.

like, if we really want, we can come up with a few or some monsters that would depict where the plot is.

I agree, let's just discuss the generals and then Yuu can maybe make a couple rough sketches of the grunts. The generals and the boss are really the main focus here.

Combatmen: Ammonites & Trilobites

I love the grunts Yuu. It has a tiki/islander feel to it. Great job with that. We only needed some rough sketches, so don't spend time on perfecting it. Next up, do Aqua then Aero, and then Omni. Afterwards, draw the generals and boss of the Extinct. Then finish it up with the final Extinction form. Thanks for your hard work Yuu!

Henshinzero we are probably not going to draw any kaijin at all except for the generals and the boss, so please don't post long lists of dinosaur names. We'll probably only include some of the names in the story with a minor description, but Yuu won't draw the monster of the weeks.

But since the amber stones are the key items for the dinosaur rider, wonder if.... think of Kyoryuger's zyudenchi.

How many stones the dino rider can collect? Maybe in every form he can change a piece of the dinosaur part into a different one.

ex.

Thero = Tyranno + Raptor + Spino + Carno

Since that form is based on theropod dinosaurs, maybe he can switch a piece of his dinosaur with a different one. Like a.... pachycephalosaurus, a ceratosaurus or a deinonychus.

Well he doesn't have to collect the stones. It could be that whoever is sponsoring Paleo just makes them and gives him new stones and gadgets to test out every now and then

Really the story could just be about Paleo stopping the monster of the week and figuring out what their plan is
