They haven't done Vulcan using Japanese Wof yet, have they? (Orcus Vulcan?) It's obscure, but Vulcan's popular, it's an easy repaint, and also it's SO-DO, so it's gonna be done.

You already have Realizing Hopper, almost a year before it debuted! :lol

Hey I'm going to post this link to an opened and stickered SO-DO birth set that's selling for 2728 yen atm (it's an auction so it could go up). I was gonna buy it for myself, but I want to make sure one of you can get it if you want it.

Just throwing it out there; if anyone in the UK wants the Tajador/Shauta/Putotyra effect pieces from the OOO Movie set but doesn’t care about the figures from that set themselves, I’d be very willing to split the pack.

So question for y'all; How do you think SO-DO will handle the head changes saber has? because each book changes the head in some regard, but so far they haven't shown any way to mix head parts. Do you think they'll do multiple heads or just do 1 or 2 heads per mix.

Hmm, Amiami says that Book 2 is November, wonder what delayed it this time...

Saber Books 2, 3, 4, and Shodo-X 11 were all pushed back a month last week.

So this is probably a dumb question, but do the Zero One So-Do boxes come with just one of each character (and two small boxes to each) on the box, or is it 10 small boxes in total like I keep seeing on some sites?

Oh there are 2 different types of boxes one that comes with just the full set of characters (6 to 10 boxes typically) and there are larger sets that include spares of some characters that are usually 10 to 12 boxes.

Is there a way to tell them apart? I haven't seen anything, but it might be the sites I'm using (Amazon mainly, idk why)

sets have a special box they come in, and you can tell by box count

for Saber though, they are only doing 10/12 box cases beyond wave 1

Well there's now a shapeways store for SO-DO stuff, so this is pretty cool.

Like the rest of Shodo, there's missing paint apps, but because this was an exclusive he has way, way, more than normal painted. There's not much missing and what is isn't seen often. I'm amazed they painted the backpack.

What's The only things I've noticed missing on the body are:
Back of the belt.
Silver straps on the back of the legs
The panel below his belt on the back. This is the only place missing any color other than silver.

Let's talk about the weapons...there's a lot. Starting with the GA-04 Antoures. This is the one that's missing the most paint, but I'm fine with that because unlike the Figuarts the hook comes off.

The GK-06 Unicorn and Guardacceler are neat. The Unicorn was my favorite mode to use in Battride War, so I'm happy to have it. The Guardacceler is...a car key.

Some of the weapons are molded in very soft PVC. The GS-03 Destroyer probably has it the worst as it's a long thin blade. It's also undersized. It's also a huge pain in the ass to connect.

BFG time. This is the GX-05 Kerberos in GX-Launcher mode. That's the briefcase unfolded, with an energy magazine, the Scorpion and its scope, and GX Bullet attached. This gun can hurt god himself (I'm not joking, that happened)

The only thing I don't like is that in order to hold the Kerberos properly under the arm you have to bend the hand's peg. It pulls the peg half way out of the arm, so pushing it back in afterwards straightens it, but still. They really should've included one more hand molded for this or an extra of the trigger hands.

All-in-all, I finally have my favorite Rider in Shodo and it happens to be my new favorite Shodo figure...and Burning Agito and Gills are here to, I guess.

I still don’t have my laptop to link images, but the new SODO blog hit and aside from its new reveal and some lovely SHODOX10 images; it stated that the Agito Awakening set exceeded expectations so well they’re working on a new project. So look forward to that! G3, Exceed Gills and G3 Mild, maybe?

Rushing Cheetah is first. Painted as much of the silver and black as I could. Painted the right hands and gun to. The panel lining on the face is thicker than I meant, but it looks good on camera. I'd like to redo the silver with a bit blue sometime to see if I can get it closer.

Lightning Hornet is the one I could do the least on. Can't remotely match that metallic yellow. Did all the silver, black, and white I could. This one has a thinner panel line on the face, maybe to thin. I'm very happy with how the wings came out.

And lastly Fighting Jackal. This is what sparked me to go fully into customizing them. The scythe hands were black out of the box. I used stickers on the head, scythe, and belt. Painted the rest that wasn't already. I didn't realize how detailed the back was before painting it.

These look gorgeous! Although, just a suggestion, try painting the hip joints silver as well for extra suit accuracy.

I'm still holding out a little hope she might get another form in a movie. Necrom got one in Spectre's V-cinema, it's not impossible. I don't think we ever got a figure of that, but I don't think So-Do was around back then.

So I'm packing up a few things to mov to London tomorrow (yes, I know, I'm making awful life choices, blame previous awful life choices), and I realised like everyone else I've got a lot of backlog of SO-DO. So I built a couple today. The last bit of BUILD 8, we have:

And neither was too awful a build! RabbitRabbit was very simple, and I still tore his eye sticker a little. My Sento has helmet damage now. He doesn't look super amazing? Idk, the crimson shade doesn't really work in plastic form, but he's fine enough.

TankTank, on the other hand, aka my favourite of Build's form upgrades, looks amzing. All his little tank treads are stickers, which is a little annoying, but a tweezer puts them in fine. And he comes with a blue FullBottleBuster! I love him.

First, best of luck on your move! Awful life choices can be, at the very least, pretty entertaining. Hope it goes smoothly!

Second, those two tiny mans look great. I'm going to have to track those down soon.

Finished! That ended up being a weirdly productive day: these four SO-DO got stickered, putting my backlog at Infinity Minus Four; cleaned my bathroom; filled out my ballot (why does Illinois have so many judges); laced up a new pair shoes; and did a little bit of computer work from home. Good day!

I really like how these four tiny mans turned out. No real rhyme or reason to which ones I did, just picked eight boxes and got to work. Of them all, I think I ended up liking Hedgehog/Firetruck the best? I just really like the Candy Apple Red finish on the Firetruck half. Real eye-catching.

I'll let someone else link the blog post, but WOW, Gaim looks absolutely beautiful.

They also managed to get an incredible amount of paint on Calibur. Jeez. Apparently Calibur wouldn't have looked as good if they forced the form-change gimmick onto him, so they just let the suit be its gorgeous self.

Oh, and we're getting Zero-One Shooting Wolf lol. Huh.

I think it's the end of year big amazon exclusive box we've been getting the last few years featuring a book, a Butobasoul medal, an So-Do fig, a DX toy, a poster and one or two other things. Last few years the theme of the merch, book and poster aside, has been of the HBV released after the series (Ex-Aid Lv 39, Prime Rogue, Bibill Geiz), but it seems like we're not getting an HBV this year so they're doing this instead.
