Yes, in an episode of Ultraman Ace (1972), the Ultra brothers are captured and drained of their powers. Its a really good two-part episode.

Yup. Not quite a "nails & spear" crucifixition, but chained up to those crosses as part of a plot against Ace.

Ultraman is in-stock at Amazon, BBTS, and probably all the other Bluefin-supplied retailers. Where are you not finding him?

Usually if I'm buying an Ultra Act off Amazon, if Amazon themselves are currently out of stock, I usually look for the sellers that have the "Full filled by Amazon" tag in their description. At least that way Amazon is involved in some way. even then a it's a good idea to check the customer rating they supply and to read a few to see other people experiences with a particular seller.

But just on a side note pay close attention to the price listing. On more than one occasion I've seen something that was waaaaaaaay too good a deal, and they jack up the shipping, which is also listed, so you're basically paying the full price somewhere else.

At the time I wrote that reply, Amazon had a few Ultraman left. Now they don't, but there are some US sellers fulfilled by Amazon with it, Anime King in particular, but expensive. More importantly, that was about clarifying that the reissue you thought we hadn't gotten did in fact happen. I didn't bother to look up a ton of stores, but Gundam Planet, Nakama Toys, Image Anime and Toy Arena have it, while ToyWiz and Entertainment Earth have open preorders. Definitely out there aside from Amazon and BBTS.

Finally got around to opening up Yullian. Others posted pics earlier, so I'll just add that she's even more of an "80 effect set...with bonus Yullian figure!" release than the renewal Astra was for Leo, and that's despite coming with less stuff overall. Part of that's admittedly because she has even fewer unique weapons/attacks than Astra does, but it's still sad and amusing that her non-hand parts are meant for 80 (no Princess Ray?).

That said, since the hands are pretty much the same as 80's or any other Ultra's, she can still use hand-held effect part (Ultra Slash, I think). Since her feet are boots rather than the standard Ultra foot, she can't use the effect for the Moonsault kick.

(It would've been going all out, but I wouldnt' have minded adding replacement arms and effect pieces for both Yullian & 80 for the Power Circle Combo.)

I'm really kinda disappointed I went through all the trouble of starting my own Dark Ultra's. I just started this one a few days ago and now we have news of Kamila. Crazy how shit happens lol. Oh well it saved me the trouble of continuing this little project. I'm sure Dahram and Hudra will be next.

Do guys think that Ultra Act Ultraman X will be a retail or web exclusive release?

I'd like to think it'd be a retail release like Ginga was, but given the way the line's going, it wouldn't surprise me at all if it were a web exclusive.

Anyone know if there are any plans for UltraMan X, I know his series is new but I really love the look.

Same here man, I would totally buy an Ultra-Act of X if they make one.

I think the chances are pretty high, unlike Sentai Ultra-Act seems to sell well, they almost monthly release stuff.

Hopefully it'll come out at a faster pace than Ginga did.

Guess I'm alone in my distaste for the X design then. It's fine but something about it just doesn't work for me. Though I've been selling off some of my Ultra-Acts lately too. Realized I'd bought quite a few with no real attachment to the character in question. Can't say I'd ever buy an X.

Regarding Ultraman X, I'd say an Ultra-Act is very likely. Tsuburaya is really hyping that guy and he already has vinyl figures, vehicles and etc.

I like the new UltraMan design. Very armor.

It may be me, but something about the head looks odd compared to the earlier promo pics. When I saw those two in-hand pics last night, at first I thought it was a different Manga Ultra figure from a separate line.

Maybe it's just me as well, but the head looks a bit odd to me too.
