Footage and screenshots are showing reduced levels on some Trainers (such as Roxanne) as well as some random Trainers having their teams reduced in number.

I doubt that it's gonna happen, the trailers are probably just made of the various gameplays during an earlier stage and could be a lot different from the official finalized gameplay setup for when the games are released.

Roxanne, Brawly and Wattson were nerfed.
Flannery's levels are the same as RS and replaces one of her Slugma with a Numel.
Norman was also nerfed, but I can't complain about that lol.
Winona was buffed, Liza and Tate were buffed and Wallace was buffed.

Both Winona and Wallace have 4 or more Pokemon. All 4 E4 have 5.

That's the way the rosters were back in RS, aside from levels and a single team change(For the Gym Leaders) nothing changed.

Yay. Tate and Lisa were buffed. Maybe now I can fight them while actually being awake.

It took me like three tries to beat Roxanne...

It only takes me one time to beat her while using Mudkip. :|

If you level up Torchic till it evolves to Combushkin then it'll have a chance against Roxanne's pokemon but for Treeko & Mudkid, those 2 just needs to be at the level where Treeko learns a basic grass type move or Mudkip learns a basic water type move.

- There was a special post game episode(Similar to the Looker one from XY) revealed having to do with Rayquaza and Deoxys

I always just took it as each game is further along in the timeline. Not like a timeline really matters in Pokémon games, though.

As part of promoting ORAS, they released an in-game timeline for the games.

Well i always assumed that but it's kind of inconsistent in that by Red and blue Dark types aren't a thing but Hoenn has them. And now we have megas which are supposed to be a thing only Kalos has and it's a recent thing, which takes place at best 15 years after RS.

Red and Blue aren't canon though, FRLG are.

The Mega stuff will be explained in ORAS. Wallace mentions a huge man that visited Hoenn in the new pictures on Pokemon.com.

And the Asteroid coming towards Earth is similar to the incident from 3000 years ago, Deoxys might have something to do with Mega Evolution.

But in HGSS they say that Dark and steel were recently discovered...

And in RBY they say Mew is the genetic ancestor of all Pokemon but then in DPPt they say Arceus is the creator of the universe.
And in RSE they say Milotic is the most beautiful of all the Pokemon, then in XY they say Diancie is the most beautiful.

Notice how Pokemon has a hard time keeping it's story straight when you quote it? Just paraphrase and let it go.

I know Jasmine said Steel types are newly discovered in GSC, but she doesn't say that in HGSS.

I'm just gonna stick to the head canon that Hoenn is under a time vortex or something because it also has Fairy's which i seem to remember XY saying that they were recently discovered by they're time period too.

Fairies are a new classification, as many old Pokemon were reclassified as Fairy types as well.
It's like saying we went back in time 20 years if a scientist discovers that one strain of the flu was actually two strains that acted similar tomorrow or something...

Well Deoxys is based on a double helix so I wouldn't be suprised.
