That's... that's four years younger than me, damn. I was always on the late Unicron Triology / Animated train, I suppose, just never got into BW. My own loss, from what I've heard.

As fpr th rumours, I've sort of drifted out of transformers recently, but so this is all vague second-hand, but the whispers were that she'd potentially be based on the version from the old TFCC Beast Wars Uprising stuff:

It's uncertain exactly what she'd be retooled from, since WFC doesn't have any bikebots, but the premiere guess was either Chromia from Siege, or Arcee, because girl.

I didn't watch Beast Wars till years later, but it's still one of my favorite series. Of Transformers, at least. I've been following the toylines for a while, but I haven't really gotten anything from them. I wish I could, but oh well.

Transmutate never transformed, but that's not going to stop them from making one that does. My theory is that companies like Hasbro just do whatever they think is cool at the time. Or not, I don't know how these things work.

Maybe? I hadn't seen that, but also I hadn't gone majorly digging. Would make sense though.

Someone looked at their plans for Kingdom, went "You know what this otherwise cartoon slavish line needs? Robot dinosaur skeleton transformers", and they went and did it just because they thought the idea alone was cool enough to get them more money, so you're probably more right than you think.

Yeah that wasn't crumbs from my snack which was deep fried liver and cheese. They tasted so great with the spicy marinara. Mmmm . . . . Oh right! The crumbs! Yeah there is a chance it might of been residue from stuff I was testing.
