So...there was no Zedd ZERO prototype ever? Not really that surprised but oh well.

So, in a nutshell, no Zeo/In Space/Time Force, no Figuarts ZERO Zedd and no plans to complete the unfinished teams for the foreseeable future.

Now I'm slowly losing interest in getting anything sentai-related for SHF.

I understand it has immense appeal... But I just really, really can't believe that that's true.

Well that's depressing news. I guess I will just forget about buying anymore rangers then. No point in even getting the Gouraigers anymore either. Basically they are saying Sentai Figuarts are pretty much done. Lovely.

seeing that custom buster figuarts made me think how cool the whole buster team would look in that sdcc metallic variant like they did to samurai.

Guy, I'm not ready to give up just yet. I think they're working out what's next based on the excepts above. I'm sure licensing & Saban/artists approval is making things a little difficult, but not impossible. We'll see new stuff if not by the holidays, likely by early next year. Until then, I plan to relish the figures I have.

Got my preorder in for Duke. That's going to be quite the pretty penny when he comes out going Nippon-Yasan's way...

Yeah, the holidays are gonna kill me. August is gonna be pretty easy but after that my wallet is going to suffer until at least February of next year.

The difficulty in getting approval is probably one of the main reasons they'll continue focusing on the Japanese market. I'm sure we'll see the ToQGers before too long and we're still getting Akaranger out of nowhere, so the line definitely isn't completely dead. I just wouldn't expect much else unless we get another anniversary movie or a third season of Akibaranger.

My only worry is that they have no intention on finishing teams. Even if we get Ohranger/Zeo next, it's likely going to be Red and Kingranger and that's it.

I still err on the side of hope. Though what you've said is likely, I still think they're cooking up something to surprise us. But I'm not naive. The moment I hear that it's officially over, I'm just going to get what figures are left, then it's off to the customs community. Hey, it works for Transformers, and look how that's working out.

I don't know if this was brought up but is it just me or does the Gridon Figuart look better in the newer picture than when he looked when they first showed pics of him.

That might be because the initial pics were of the prototype.

i hate NY's lack of a warehouse system

i ordered Gidon with a YF30 Chronos (release due next month) and i can't shuffle orders around so stuff ships in the same month

it's super rigid and they only let you cancel/re-order so much

how fucking hard is it to have a queue for products ordered? HLJ and AmiAmi let you group shit by month, NY forces you to wait until everything's in stock or buy everything separately

Yeah, I had SIC Sagozo and the Ultra-Act Zero two-pack on two separate orders since they were posted at different times despite both coming out this month; I asked and they wouldn't let me combine the orders. I wouldn't mind if they went the AmiAmi route, since paying at the end of the month would make budgeting easy for me timing-wise, like it (typically) is with my AmiAmi orders.

At this point I just wait a while to order Tamashii exclusives now to see if there are any "belated" announcements for that same month, to make sure I don't end up with separate orders for the same month or your issue, of a single order that won't ship until the latter item comes out a month later.

I thought of this before, but when I get gridon I want to get OOO sagozo so I can set up a rider donkey kong display. I could also get the den-o hana figuart as a princess for the display, although I have thought of getting her before this thought.

Tell me about it, I ordered Gridon with Rose Attacker because they were going to be released in the same month. Then they decided to delay Rose Attacker for another month and now I gotta wait because I can't re-order. :(

Also, Hacchaka's and Shishioh's reviews of Gridon really make me regret not getting in on all of the web exclusive Gaim Figuarts. But I was worried about my job outlook during all of their ordering periods... *sigh* Gridon's not the highest priority, but I guess I'll set a FigInStock alert for him all the same.

Oh, I've got one now, but back when Gridon went up for preorder (can't remember how many months ago that was now) I know I didn't know where I was going to end up. But it was a touch search. So I just didn't preorder much at all for a while.

Well I'm in the pits now. I only come to admire, congradulate, and overall ogle & envy all the hauls and figures I won't get.
